Sui and Liu definitely have the most "VS bombshell" walk out of all the Asian ladies. Ming comes second, then Shu Pei (if she's walking), then the DREADFUL Xiao Wen. Hopefully Xie and Estelle have nice walks (and the newbie from the iSupermodel competition). EDIT: Sui is better than Liu. Sui is very ethereal and has a certain elegance to her, whereas Liu is a bit more rusty than Sui. See last year, with Sui in MR and Liu in SA.

Honestly, Elsa with the FB, Sara with the SO, and Romee with incredibly big wings would be pretty amazing. I doubt that's what went down. I could see them giving Romee the SO over Sara.

Mayowa confirmed via her IG story that she had her fittings today! Leila was also photographed at the VS building. Now we just have to wait for Bee and the iSupermodel winner. Also, some IG accounts are claiming Miranda wants to make a runway return, which she hinted at in an ok! magazine interview. She didn't explicitly state VS runway, but the IG fans are flocking to the news. I'd love to see her but I doubt it would be this year, if she was going to come back. Veterans didn't have much luck this year, so I wouldn't expect such a gift. At the same time, she has a big social media following, so who knows.

I wonder why Bella, Alexina, Aiden, and Kelly had two fittings, but some of the Angels only had one. If anyone should be allowed to get 2 outfits, it's the Angels, the returning Asian girls minus Xiao, Karlie/Kate G (Kate only has one tho), the fit models (not the dreadful Dilone), and maybe Grace E, Kelly, or Maria. If I had to choose, Gigi would get two outfits over Bella. Alexina and Aiden are newbies and have, in no way, earned two outfits.

I expect them to add Grace, focus on Zuri a little, then add her later on in her career, probably after most of the NAs have left. Blanca, Georgia, Ming, Sanne, and Kelly are the current girls I se having the most potential to be promoted. I would love to see Barbara F or Cindy get the promotion, but Babs is pushing 30. Cindy's only 22, so there's always a chance.

Based off of Bianca's interview, she really seems like such a sweet girl and a good spokesmodel. Amazes me that they passed over her, especially if it's surgery related, because so many models haven't had to deal with surgery stigma from the brand, like Romee, Bella, and so many others who have been rumored to have gone under the knife (including Gisele herself!)

Aiden has been photographed in two different outfits going to and from fittings. Unless she wore a different shirt leaving, I think she went in for a second day of fittings. If that's the case, I really hope the nepotism got in the way of some of the design on her outfits and she had to get it refitted, because I sure as hell will not accept her getting two outfits if that's the case for Sara.

Zara and Dua would be insanely cool! I also like that we're considering rising performers!

I'd love Irina, but this roster should've cut it off at like 50 at the most.

If I see anyone justifying Bella's casting on this thread... That girl got two of the best fucking outfits last year and somehow managed to do poorly twice over! VS should be ashamed of themselves for letting trash in. I don't care if any of y'all say I'm too bitter and that she deserves another chance to prove herself. If she gets a free pass, she should be better than every single model in that show.

Karlie may be more of a bonafide supermodel than Izabel, Toni, and Bianca, barely more than Isabeli, but her getting special treatment over Iza dumbfounds me. Karlie may be young and hip and have a more successful high fashion career, but Iza has contributed more to the brand than Karlie did. Karlie only walked for a solid four years, Iza was vying for number 13! Both were Angels. Don't claim Karlie deserves it more. The treatment was unfair if the method of thinking behind Karlie's casting was her contributions to VS.

Elsa, Sara, or Jo at this point. None of the older Angels should get it, unless Ale is leaving. Honestly, watch Ed give it to Lily again.

Who do you guys think will get openings/closings?

I'm expecting a lot of changes with the Angel squad in the next year or so. Personally, I'd cut Behati, Lily, Martha, Stella, and Taylor. However, the way things seem to be panning out, I don't see any immediate changes. Behati seems to be the next girl to leave. Ale and Adri are probably gonna maintain their Angel contracts for a while, because all they really have to do now is walk the show. They still maintain six-figure contracts and don't do anything else, so might as well stay working for them. I was surprised to see them shooting some lingerie and appearing at the store openings. Lily is gonna stick with the brand until she dies. Her relationship with Ed is really the only reason she's still there. Candice will probably stick with it for another few years, finish with a run similar to Adri and Ale's. Jasmine and Josephine will definitely stay for a pretty long time. Lais might leave if she has another kid and decides to focus on other jobs. Martha is definitely gonna hold on for dear life. Taylor and Stella might leave for high fashion purposes, but Taylor seems to be out in the HF world now, especially after her weight gain. Romee will definitely stick with it for at least another four years or so. Sara is the only one I can't really tell.

But why did they confirm the girls at callbacks? Like I get it if they were a vet with significant presence in the brand like Iza or a nepotism model that they were gonna use to promote like VS did with Bella and Gigi, but (even though I love them) I find it weird that Ed casted Amilna and Roos right on the spot. Maybe not so much Roos cuz she worked for the brand literally until the day of castings and they were obviously impressed by how she improved her walk, but Amilna? Her walk looked amazing, but don't they have to consider everyone? Feels like they didn't put much consideration into the castings if they just blurted out yes's on the spot.

Seeing Bella and Gigi's fame in China, I wouldn't be surprised if they show up. Not sure about Kendall. That's why I was fairly surprised about Lily D not getting cast, because she used to be huge with Vogue China.

It was good in 2013 and then became a little annoying, but I'm gonna miss Iza. She works hard and VS is really her only major work she does during the year. I'm sure she'll cry at next year's audition and convince Ed to let her back in.

Isabeli deserves better. She's a bonafide supermodel so she really doesn't need VS. I still wouldn't mind seeing her in 2018!

After calming myself down from the stressful casting day yesterday, I have some observations. I made a pros and cons list, because, regardless of how unhappy I am, there is still so much to be grateful for and I should still be considerate of all of the handwork put into the show. Pros: 1. DIVERSITY! There are going to be eight Chinese girls (including Estelle, who is French, but with Chinese heritage). As per usual, eight Brazilian bombshells! Nine girls from different African nations, with two from Angola! With Kelly, Cindy, Blanca, Jourdana, Lameka, Lais, Zuri, and Jasmine, as well girls from all over Europe and Australia/New Zealand, this cast is truly a melting pot of different cultures and ethnicities. We also have the long desired redhead (never really got into that weird obsession/fetish, but good some girls now can feel represented, even if it's just a hair color). I'm 100% this is the most diverse cast VS has had! 2. New Talent Casting may not have been a joy for some of us, but some new talent definitely arose and will be showcased well in November. Frida, Gizele, Nadine, and Roos all finally made the cut, after years of hard work for the brand in catalogs and photoshoots. Most of the other girls are high fashion professionals, so I'm expecting some great walks. 3. Many Returning Faces Blanca is back! Leila is back! Irina is back! Shu Pei is back! Bruna was tragic her first walk, but hopefully she has gotten better. 4. VS Kept Some Vets Liu, Maria, Sui, Barbara, Cindy, Devon, Kelly, Ming, Kate G, Leomie, Sanne, and Daniela are all still standing! I'm also excited to see breakout girls from last year like Georgia and Lameka return. 5. PINK Now Has 2 Spokesmodels Now that Rachel seems to be officially done with the brand, it makes it so much easier for Zuri and Grace to get the recognition they deserve. Hopefully Zuri will get the opening or closing of the PINK section, like she deserved last year. 6. ANGELS Adriana and the angel squad are still here! Behati and Candice will be returning! With a huge cast of new and lesser known models, it seems like the Angels should be getting more emphasis and their role in the show might be more esteemed in respect to their contracts. We still have all the FB, opening/closing, and massive wing announcements to come, which I'm sure the Angels will slay, come show day. CONS: 1. VS Omits Vets (aka VS leaves out my top choices) I was gonna write a long paragraph about how VS is losing it's glamour and focusing too much on teenage imagery (which it is, but whatever), but I decided, after writing all my pros down that I'd rather focus on the positives. Yes I'll miss Izabel's hair flip (sad she won't be here for the first time in 12 years), Isabeli's smirk, Joan's sassy strut, Maryna's fierce poses, Bregje bombshell hips, Shanina's exotic appeal, Lily D's elegance, Hilary's raven-haired beauty, Jacquelyn's rocking body, and Sharam's megawatt smile, but I'll get over it. There's always next year. I'm scared some of them won't return ever, but they had excellent years with VS and there's still a possibility of future shows. At least many of the girls will have bigger and better things to come. Look at Robin and Chase! They're already SI rookies and it hasn't even been a week since VS told them no! Obviously I'd pick these girls over Jourdana, Dilone, and Megan any day, but the decisions have been made and it's best to stay positive. It's best to hold judgement of the current girls until after the show, because they could impress and make us regret saying they didn't deserve it. If the show sucks and the girls really don't do well, then we can be mad.

I'm trying my hardest to appreciate all of the girls who got casted, but I keep replacing them with the girls I think should've gotten it and I don't know if I can get over that by November.

VS really sat down and said here are the best of the best, let's not cast a single one of them If anyone still has respect for this brand, let me know so you can be tested for whatever poison Ed or Sophia slipped you to convince you otherwise.
