I think the line-up may be officially over. I really just want to scream and complain about everything because this has been the worst casting I have ever seen for VS, but that's not going to change anything about it, because the production team won't listen and the decisions have been made. I read somewhere that VS is looking to "redesign" the show and give it almost a reboot of sorts. However, it seems unreasonable to smash down a house built by solid bricks and try to rebuild it with straws of hay. Obviously every single girl worked hard to get their spot (except Aiden, no exceptions for nepotism), but the women who built this brand up to its glory days were the girls who were here in 2001 - 2003, and from 2010 - 2014. That's when the show had it's highest ratings and its highest viewership. Izabel, Isabeli, Bregje, Hilary, Sharam, Gracie, Ming, Joan, Maryna, Lily D, Shanina, and Jacquelyn were all part of those times and deserve more than being replaced by young, inexperienced girls. If this show was supposed to be so great, why are the girls who gave so much to the brand being left behind for a different image that wasn't what drew audiences to the fashion show in the first place? Of course, VS should be looking for new talent each year, but it's just disrespectful to throw these girls aside like trash and act like the show is better because of it.

Has anyone heard anything about Maartje? If they're just gonna scrap the vets, at least give me one newbie who is talented and pretty.

Anyone else having trouble seeing most of these girls as mainline material? I feel like I'm looking at a big PINK segment right now.

Even without knowing about Monica being her mother, I thought Aiden was a horrible fit for the show. I'm really intrigued to see the casting video because I honestly don't feel like Sophia, Ed, and Monica made most of these castings. Even though they suck at casting, none of Sophia's favorites are there and Ed's influence doesn't seem as strong.

I'm surprised we haven't heard anything about Ming or Liu Wen. I could see Liu not doing it, but Ming seemed like she was a lock.

Only non-Angels I like atm are Blanca, Georgia, Roos, Babs, and Sui He. This line-up is weaker than 2015.

If that's the case, nepotism crew might be scrapped all together. Joan was honestly my favorite non-Angel. I would be so pissed if they did her dirty like that. If Kendull still walks, fuck VS cuz Joan deserves better than that.

I'm trying so hard to be happy for these girls, but VS is letting me down big time with all these girls missing out on the show.

So happy for Mayoma. I wanted her last year! Not as pumped about Amilna, Julia, Daria, or Estelle. Georgia is decent, but WHERE THE HELL ARE THE BOMBSHELLS?

Okay, most of the Isabeli/Izabel/Lily D/Bianca/Joan stuff seems to be just speculation at this point. Honestly, seeing the selections so far, Sophia's choice's have all made it, so Izabel and Lily D have nearly a 99% chance of getting in. If none of these girls make it, VS loses so much credibility. Pretty sure every single one of those girls (minus Bianca) was offered an Angel contract at some point.

They have to call each agency and inform each model individually, it may just be that she hasn't gotten a phone call yet.

Happy for Samile, she has some amazing high fashion work and stuns on the runway. Should be a good newbie. Unfortunately, the rejected girls seem like they could put on a better show than the confirmed ones.

I would agree that Robin isn't a total loss. Definitely was hoping she'd get it, but I understand that she doesn't have major experience on the runway. However, if I see Kendull strut her untalented ass onto that runway, knowing damn well Bregje deserved it over her, I will not be happy. I don't understand how Ed hasn't taken notice to how annoyed the fans are with how he casts the show. This is a horrendous start to a show that is supposedly going to be the "best one yet." Bregje deserves better than this shit. Robin better book it next year, because that girl didn't work her ass off to sit by and not be rewarded for her hard work.

I feel like VS stopped using her because of their newfound love for Romee. I always felt like VS was prepping Bregje to take Doutzen or Candice's spot if one of them left, and that suddenly changed once Romee started being featured more and eventually got promoted. Doesn't really make sense though, since VS wants to crank out 30 different blonde chicks but can't even choose the best ones.

According to Bregje Heinen's fiancee, she did not get casted. Still not sure why VS thinks girls like Megan are better options than Bregje. I don't mean to downplay Megan's hard work, but Bregje is a far more noted face in the fashion industry, as well as more commonly known by non-fashion focused fans. She has a better walk and more experience with the brand. So confused how they have managed to pass up a girl who was almost an Angel for four years now. Shame on VS. #JusticeforBregje

The girls are never informed of the decision during the callbacks, and unless Danielle was the last one, there would've been other girls who hadn't even attended their callbacks yet that would have to be factored into the final decision. Seeing that she is speaking of "smiling the whole time," I am assuming she is simply talking about her callback.
