Oh dear Lord, is the issue on stands yet? One pic here, one pic there, another from somewhere else. I'm half ready to get the damn thing and scan it myself. <_<

^Thanks, Psylocke! Is it just me, or does Marisa's answers in the interview paint a little bit of a diiferent picture of how she started than anything she's said in the past? I always thought Testino just sort of stumbled upon her one day.

Well, if you want to nitpick on the scan in support of harvard girl, you can say it gets pretty dark on the left side where the page didn't lay flat.

^ I just googled a few past winners and they all have Maxim editorials for the years they were #1, so I guess so. And Megan Fox was #1 on FHM's list and I know she recently did a shoot for them. But even if Maxim seems a little beneath Marisa, it'll be good for the publicity, since it's not something most models ever get.

Now the question is: when does the issue hit stores, so someone can scan it without the pages crooked? :|

^ I disagree that that has much, if anything, to do with her age. I think it has more to do with the individual shoots, as 2003 (Turkey) and 2004 (Iowa) were more original in concept, while each year since has been your standard bikinis-on-a-beach, which I'm getting pretty tired of from SI. <_< But I do admit she looks amazingly young in the 2002 shoot.

^ Yes, well her accomplishments go well beyond modeling, but the program lumped her in with former Angels Tyra and Gisele, and I was referring to the current ones mentioned.

Marisa was on "E! News" earlier. It wasn't anything special. It was basically a summary of what the Angels have been doing: Adri is engaged. Ale is pregnant. Miranda is dating Orlando Bloom. Marisa got the SISE cover and the #1 spot on Maxim's list. It seems Marisa is the only Angel with actual modeling accomplishments.

I love how just a few months ago everyone was slamming Jaric, saying how fugly he is and how much better Adriana could do, and now everyone's like, "OMG, he's sooo handsome and they're so perfect together!"

^ Yeah, Maxim's site doesn't have it as the current issue, so we'll have to wait a few more days, I guess. Anyway, I nabbed the pic from eBay, so credit to the seller... I was hoping for one of these shots to make the cover, but she still looks hot!
