Ugh. I think I held out the longest on letting myself believe Marisa had become an Angel by the time of the VSFS, and now it seems I'm the only one who still believes it. As far as I'm concerned, the fact that she's in that GQ issue with the other Angels (which was shot in 2007) is proof she's been one for awhile now. The people who started this idea that she was just dubbed an Angel are your usual morons -- the first articles I read on it even featured a picture of Heidi instead, because they have no clue what they're talking about.

More Youtube vids... This one is a longer version of one I already posted. The VIP shoot. Here is them doing some synchronized swimming. It's pretty silly, but it's hilarious with that "Nevermind" reference at 2:53. This seems to be some sort of thing about Rio, but OMG at the woman on the beach at 7:00. :shock:

^ They win the gold medal for hotness! But there seems to be some confusion as to whether they competed or not. Some say they did, some say they didn't (most sites I can't understand anyway). I even saw a schedule for their events on one site, but I'm thinking they didn't compete, despite being on Brazil's national team and being the greatest thing to probably ever happen to synchronized swimming.

Since this is a thread on athletes, and they're swimmers, I thought I might actually include some pics of the twins... you know... in the water... along with a whole lot more of other, miscellaneous pictures credit to various sites

^ The whole reason I discovered them is I typed "hottest olympic athletes beijing" into Google and found a list that had them ranked #1 and #2.

For anyone who's never heard of Google Trends, it's a feature in which you can enter criteria that it plots the search volumes for back to 2004, displaying them in a graph for comparison, along with some other info you can click on the links and see. For BZ purposes, it can basically show you who is more popular than who, and I used the Angels as examples since people are always saying one is more popular than the other with nothing more than guesswork to back the claim up. But type in whoever you want. I used Izabel as my "base number" (1) -- you need an account to get this feature -- since she ranks just a fraction lower than Selita. So the numerical values beside each name represent the overall search volume relative to that number one. In other words, Alessandra has a 10, meaning 10x more searches have been done for her worldwide (you can narrow it down to specific countries or select certain years) than Izabel or Selita since 2004. If a name has a common misspelling, you can include both terms with a "|" (verticle line), i.e. "Marisa | Marissa Miller." And just ignore the letters in the graph (they correlate to news items). ^ Yeah, when I first saw the movie with my brother, I told him afterwards it would be great if Azrael came into the story, because he's badass. ^ I disagree that it wasn't about the "Dark Knight." Sure, the Joker was the more interesting character, but it's Batman that had the inner struggle that always marks a story's true protagonist. I never once thought it was putting too much emphasis away from Batman. I just wish Crane/Scarecrow had more of a part beyond that odd cameo in the beginning.

This is probably the first movie I've ever wanted to see a second time while still in theatres. :| And only partially for reasons of helping it overtake Titanic (which won't happen).
