And now you know better. But I agree with the people saying the Xmas commercial was disappointing. Very scattershot. I'm not a Rosie fan but I thought she looked hot though, and Ale looked great at the end in that black dress and the shades.

Here is a great and rather extensive interview Marisa did with "Access Hollywood" on the set of Gary Unmarried. She actually has a real role, not just a cameo. And judging from how a third of the interview was on the VSFS, I guess this appearance will be the equivalent of last year all the Angels being on How I Met Your Mother.

^ Well, Gary Unmarried is a CBS show, so her appearance is probably meant to drum up interest in the VSFS (like with the Angels on How I Met Your Mother last year), meaning the episode will likely air in late November.
Alright, I'll be the first to tackle this with an explanation. I voted for option #3 because models like Heidi and Tyra are examples of what business savvy can do for your career that are too enormous for it to be underrated. It seems to me that the most successful models are known/remembered for what they've done for their careers outside of modeling - the TV shows, commercials, clothing lines, non-modeling-related endorsement deals, etc - and that takes business savvy. I don't think good fortune is underrated either, as it seems every model you read about was discovered by accident (supposedly). The ever-fortunate "oh I was just walking in the mall with my mom when..." tale is a cliche at this point. Instead, I voted for passion/determination because because most people when thinking about what it would be like to be a model just picture a glamorous life of getting paid tons of money to wear beautiful clothes and fly to beautiful locations for photoshoots and not have to worry about dieting or exercise because models are all supposed to be naturally fit/good-looking. They don't take into account that you're competing with 1,000 other wannabes for every assignment, waking up for 4am call-times, on an endless succession of plane rides by yourself from shoot to shoot, and under intense pressure to stay physically perfect, and to remain relevant when modeling trends are always changing - all while people are probably trying to take advantage of you.
For anyone who missed the Daily 10 thing (I'm assuming that's everyone), it wasn't much. Just a 15-second segment on her giving the jersey to that basketball player.
Aw man, thread edited? I missed all the name-calling and the petty "my fave model is awesome and yours sucks" comments. Oh wait, plenty of that is still here.

That's why I didn't rate her higher. To be honest, between Daniella, Adri, Ale, ABB, and other Brazilian models popular here on BZ, I'm convinced the whole "Brazilian girls have big booties" thing is a lie.

I actually thought the end was kind of funny. That doesn't mean I wouldn't like to throw a grenade into a crowd of paparazzi though - preferably a crowd surrounding Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton.

Well, SI could use the star power, and Marisa and Griffin (her husband/manager) were seen back in the spring/summer at a popular NYC business-lunch place with SI's top execs. *crosses fingers*
Damn, I guess this person doesn't like getting hits for her blog. But it wasn't anything that important. Just describing how people waited in the rain to see Marisa, how perfect she looked, and how she had more bodyguards than Obama would. She also said the crowd would flip out every time Marisa flipped her hair, although I'm sure that's an exaggeration.
