Well, unlike a lot of USA-bashers on this forum, I don't like to pass judgement on other people or cultures I don't know much about, but our culture here seems pretty sexual to me. The conservatives here (and there are a lot, I admit) are just in denial about it. Now what do the nudity rules have to do with it though? There are a lot of underage posters here and it's not just the US that doesn't want minors exposed to nudity.

Are you serious?! The USA is the world capitol of the phrase "sex sells." You can't escape eroticism here.

You're so mean! I think they make a great pair. Plus, Heidi being there lends Marisa legitimacy.

Thanks, Pink! I love those! It's been forever since I saw a VS launch and thought the models looked sweet and accessible. VS should just retire the Angels and use Marisa from now on.

^ I guess they don't like freckles or moles. <_< Btw, I like your avatar, bluestars87. I remembering seeing it when you posted in another thread and I was wondering if I'd ever seen you post here in Marisa's thread, but now here you are!

I can't believe this: the commerical has been aired, capped, and posted, and KBIII isn't even here! He must be dead. :|

Come closer again, Pinkie! I need a new lucky rabbit's foot. :knives: So Heidi should be denied a renewal of her contract because 1) she's not nice to people, 2) looked less than stellar in 2005, or 3) has had kids? But from that pic with Marisa posted a page or so ago, she looks ripped to me. Not to mention, VS is probably not trying to lose every big name they have, so it makes sense they would renew her contract.

Hey, Pinkie, if you're fluffy, can I pet you?

And it's so random, too! All these pics of Marisa and Heidi... and then one of Ale thrown in.

Thanks for the scans, Lady Fatale! But what is Ale doing in that ad? She's hot but she's got almost nothing for a full coverage bra to cover.

Check out the map in the wikipedia Chevy Chase link and you'll see Montgomery County is not next to Baltimore.
  19. What would make you think she dressed herself in that pic?

  21. A few things... First, the comparison between Marisa and Gisele is not apt. The United States has now been around long enough to have bred a look that's quintessentially "American," and I like to think Marisa is the epitamy of it. It's the same thing as there being a typical Italian look or typical French look. Are they based on stereotypes? Of course, but stereotypes are born out of truth. But the traces of European ancestry are gone in her and even the name "Miller" has become Americanized to the point it's one of the most common names here -- there's no longer anything German about it or European about her. Can you say the same for Gisele? No. She was born in an area of Brazil heavily populated by descendents of German immigrants -- and well-known for it -- and if both her parents' family lines are so directly German that they both still speak it, then they're obviously still a product of Germany more so than Brazil in my opinion. Am I saying I think she should be called German rather than Brazilian? No, but if people question her ethnicity, I won't be surprised and I won't think less of them for a perfectly reasonable assumption, misguided as it might be. Secondly, saying Native Americans are the "true" Americans is idiocy: they came across the Bering Straight from Asia just as everyone else crossed the Atlantic or the Pacific later on. So they're no more American than anyone else.
