IF it were actually to be true (which, i reeeeeaaaaaaally doubt it is), it would make Brad Pitt quite literally the luckiest man on Earth for the duration of that 3-some. i can't even imagine what that would be like ... oh lawd!

Tyra used to make ridiculously facial expressions sometimes as well, but for HER it worked. for Adriana?? not so much. she just looks a bit ... erm ... special. yeah yeah, i know i'm just making fun of her and obviously she's still more absurdly hot than 99.999% of the other people in this world --- BUT, she isn't what she used to be. and there are other girls who would be better for VS. (*cough* DOUTZEN *cough*).

i hope she leaves. Adriana has gone downhill since 2003. she's become horrific on the runway, and i honestly cannot understand how come she cannot speak proper english. she's been one of the main spokesmodels for an extremely famous American company for how long now? years and years. and she still sounds like she did in 2000. it's really sad, actually. look at Ale for comparison -- 2 or 3 years ago that girl could barely (BARELY) string together a simple sentence. now, she's on talk shows and doing interviews and sounds fine. it takes some effort -- but bloody hell, adriana hasn't put in her fair share. AND she's let herself go a bit as well. she's not so sexy anymore. her peak was in 2002 and 2003. since then, blah. KK and Ale are the best angels now. Adriana's time is up.

and RE: that pic and it supposedly being Heidi's body ---- definitely not true. heidi's waist is much higher than KK's and her abs are different.

yeah .. Fernanda Tavares WOULD be spectacular. she's got the most sultry, sensual, womanly looks of any model out there. sooooo gorgeous. and her body is perfect for VS. sadly though, she's already beyond her "peak" as a model. her potential time to be a VS angel came and went (i'm sure she was thwarted by Adriana). Fernanda is one of my favourites. and she's always so fantastic in the VS shows. she'd make a great angel and her features would really compliment K.K.'s, imo. but again, i know there ain't a snowball's chance in hell it's happening.

i guess we'll get to see even more KK at promotions and stuff now that Gisele has left VS... sort of makes me happy, in that sense.

i definitely don't think that the article is totally correct. i hardly expect VS to announce FIVE new "Angels" when they only just added Selita and Izabel. i think the article is referring to the 5 who are NOW the angels, Karolina, Alessandra, Adriana, Selita and Izabel. they're the 5 who are promoting everything now. they're the 5 who are in People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful issue, etc etc. however, i do hope they add Doutzen. she's spectacularly beautiful. and sexy and smokin hot!

ana's time has come and gone. i think she would have been an angel, were it not for Gisele and Ale. she's great and VS obviously still really likes her, but i really doubt they'll make her an Angel at this point. right now there's: Karolina, Alessandra, Selita, Izabel and Adriana. i think that VS needs a model with a sophisticated beauty to replace Gisele. someone who has a tremendous *spark* of energy and enthusiasm and sexy confidence, but also with a beauty that's more adult than teeny-bopper. i think that Miranda is stunningly gorgeous, but she's just too young looking to be right for the part. i think that she'll make a great replacement next year when Adriana takes a bow. but for right now, i think VS should go for someone more mature looking, more sensual than just "cartoon" sexy. the only 2 people that spring to mind are Daria and Doutzen. i'd really love it if it Daria became and angel, but i know it ain't happening. Doutzen probably is in some level of consideration at this point. also, i think that if VS doesn't pick a new Angel with some high fashion credibility it's really going to make the contract less appealing for models in the future. as of now, with Gisele gone, Karolina is literally the only Angel with any significant history in the fashion world outside of VS. they need to have another model who can bridge the gap between the commercial and high fashion worlds. someone who will do other advertisements and campaigns and bring more recognition and credibility to the VS brand. this is my IDEAL lineup as the headliners for the show and the publicity events: Karolina, Daria, Doutzen, Selita, Alessandra, Miranda & Izabel. that covers all the possible styles and looks: Karolina = blonde bombshell Daria = fashion ingenue Doutzen = sexy pin-up Selita = charismatic, gorgeous black girl Alessandra = sweet and beautiful brunette Miranda = young and hot Izabel = smoldering exotic beauty

definitely agree that they don't share the same look (American v.s. European). however, they both do present the "hot blonde bombshell" thing for VS. even within the catalogues they try to have Marisa and KK on different pages and stuff. it wouldn't fit right if they were promoting things together. i think that's why Marisa's career (*again, at least with VS*) hasn't progressed, cause they picked KK as Heidi's "replacement" instead of Marisa. and you're probably right that it has alot to do with how great Karolina is on the runway, but i definitely stand by that it also has to do with her high fashion career. regardless, please don't read my comments as putting down Marisa. she's been very successful, and i don't think any of us have to shed any tears for Marisa Miller. she's making a fortune and is certainly more well known than 99% of the high fashion models out there. (and definitely earning more $$$).

i believe that Marisa could've easily become a hugely famous model. she has the casual confidence of a surfer girl, and the American girl-next-door charm, but Marisa wasn't given a chance to become a proper Commercial Supermodel in part at least because she wasn't right enough for the VS runway. she certainly has the boobs and the butt and the abs for the job. VS still uses her in their catalogues, and they use her VERY OFTEN. but they've never put her on the runway. .. why not? i don't know, personally, i've never seen the girl walk before. but i've got a feeling that it has more to do with the fact that they really only want to have 1 "blonde bombshell" at a time. It was Heidi for the past while and now they've clearly chosen Karolina over Marisa. even in the latest publicity things with Heidi and KK, it was quite obvious that Heidi was passing on the torch. it could've gone either way. i think Marisa has a stronger following in the "straight male" demographic than KK does, but i guess VS believes they can change that. they've used KK on the runway as a major model for years now and they're counting on KK to bring some credibility with her due to her hugely successful high fashion career (especially now that Gisele seems to be disappearing from their events more and more -- and really none of the other Angels has had any sort of notable success in the high fashion world) as well as be the "Blonde" rep. for the company. that's the way i see it. Victoria's Secret had to pick between Karolina Kurkova and Marisa Miller, and they picked K.K. Marisa will find her career to be very comparable to Petra Nemcova. HOT and SEXY, for sure, but not all that remarkable. UNLESS she finds more ways to branch off into other commercial projects. she's definitely been a fixture of the SI issue, but still hasn't landed the cover. (*i was honestly rooting for her this year, her or Ana BB --- so long as KK wasn't in the issue, obviously *). but she's hosted their shows and done specials with them, and was on that "Manhunt" show. she's doing her thing.

well that's purely a matter of opinion then. no point in arguing any further. by the way, is that Marisa Miller in your avatar?? holy flyin goodness, she's smokin hot! i really am not a fan of Marisa, but every once in a while i'll see a pic or a gif. that will make my eyes pop out she's so ridiculously hot. then, the moment passes.

yep, too young and TOOOOOO skinny. the one thing in common between all the "Supers" is that there has been some sort of reason for international publicity about them. (*Gisele dating Leo, Naomi with her Diva rage, Kate dating Johnny and the cocaine scandal, Cindy dating Richard Gere and marrying that country singer, Tyra doing movies and tv shows, Heidi guest starring on tv shows and in movies, etc*). for any of these new girls to register in a REAL way beyond the fashion world, they've gotta branch off somehow. KK is doing some movie now. it probably won't be a big hit, but at least some people will see it and it will put her name out there more. the VS angels are in People's 50 Most Beautiful issue, so that will bring some recognition (Karolina was already in it, by herself a few years ago). Sadly, it seems like Ale and KK are both already in committed relationships with people the press don't care about, so they can't use THAT as their means to stardom. they'll have to work hard to land hosting jobs or guest roles on movies/tv shows/music videos, etc. Doutzen is the hotness. she'll definitely make it superbig if she promotes herself right. *AND just to settle it, Naomi has been in COUNTLESS editorials and advertisements. it's actually absurd the amount of photographs that have been taken of the woman. ALSO, she's been on more covers than ANY other black celebrity. yes, that includes Michael Jordan, Iman, Oprah, Whitney, anyone! so, to say the only reason why anyone knows her is because of her cell phone tyrades, is ridiculous!*

^^ SO true. Gisele is even more of an icon to me than most of the Supermodels from the early days. Cindy, Linda, Christy and Claudia all had the advantage of being part of an ERA of Supermodels. sure, they were absolutely amazing and worked their asses off, but Gisele has done more than any of them and had to do it at a time when models were nothing but nameless faces. i exclude Naomi from the earlier list, because SHE is an ultimate fashion icon to me. she exploded into the world, grabbed the press by the balls, and hasn't stopped yet. it's been 20 YEARS! that's an icon. and Kate as well, for her ability to possess the utmost air of "cool" and for the fact that she's been at the very top since she started, and has never compromised her "haute couture" sensibility. so, there you have it. the 3 true modelling ICONS (*to me, at least*): Naomi Kate Gisele
