You hear about lots of the fit models of the past that made it as angels (Lindsey, Alessandra, Candice) but I am sure there’s plenty of fit models we didn’t hear about that didn’t get upgraded. More recently I cannot see them making angels out of the fit models (Devon, Cindy, Dilone, Amilna(?)).

I would rather have Malaika over Lameka (and I’m only comparing because they were mentioned together above). I think it’s great that Candy and Bee are walking and I kind of hope it’s their swan song. They’ve both done great jobs for the brand and it feels like they have run their course and own desire to be there. FWIW I think they both have great pics and runway presence which I can’t say about many of the new angels (for example, I like Stella and Sara and Lais’ pics, but on the runway, it’s kind of meh, but Jasmine and Martha and Jo (to a lesser extent) are better on runway than pics).

I wouldn’t mind Shawn Mendes either. I’d also be happy if he sings at the vsfs.

First @Dipit, hope you’re ok! Second, I like Behati and she’s good on the runway and has personality, even if she’s not the most bombshell, which is a lot more than most of the current angels. Third, in Behati’s WWHL interview, she talks about how Adam asked her to be in a music video. He also had Bregje in one and Anne V (were they dating by then?) and EmRata in another and Minka Kelly in one more. It feels a bit... weird how he always has to have models/model alikes. Like auditions. I suppose it’s no different from any other male artist but I just found it on the more meh side from him (although by accounts I’ve read, he’s not a dickhead or anything)

Thank you for your answer! I appreciate it. I guess, like any company, it’s all more intricate than it seems... (I can’t even imagine the politics at maybelline!). Sounds like Stella ain’t very nice though :-(. I also guess thats that’s why the models aren’t as eager to do VS as in the boughties when it helped with name recognition.

Morgan’s was gorgeous. She still does the etam show once in a while I think. Andi was also a great walker and presence... no idea why she wasn’t higher up in their priority list as she could have been good around the Izabel/Selita time.

Hello all at the BZ VS oracle! I was wondering if I could ask a question about Chanel. She seems to have been very short lived as an angel, why was that? I mean, she was used in adverts prior to being named an angel, so I would have thought she sold products well enough? It just seems there was a gap between her and the next black VS angels, and I wondered if VS had longer plans for her and it all went awry. Thank you! Also Lais is fire.

I liked it better when segments were ideas (for example, Game on or Parisian Nights) rather than just a word and angels attached to it. i would love a sexy Victorian era type segment or an opulent party one with fake furs and jewellery)

It’s a horror show. So is the the list of walkers this year finalised? Can’t say I’m over the moon but they cut a few girls that I wasn’t a huge fan of, although also some I loved. As for Sadie and Winnie... que cagada.

I would love it if VS started casting 1/3 returns and 1/3 new and 1/3 from previous year, but right now it seems lots of meh faces, save for some exciting new girls. However no Maria is upsetting. She’s so regal!

on the Aube situation - was that a private message that got sent around then? Or her story? She’s allowed to vent and yes, she’s allowed to go to job interviews and think “this is crap”. It’s not like she’s totally wrong. Having said that, being a bit more chill couldn’t hurt. She’s hot though and I wish she had made it.
