Oh, if some of those girls were invited, Barbs should def be. I wonder if she doesn't have the connections? I love her, but lbr she doesn't really seem like the type to turn down that type of publicity if she had been invited.

As someone who is a recovering from the stereotypical celeb "exhaustion" illness aka adderall (21 years)/coke (4-5 years) addict + ED recovery, that girl's Hashimoto's had nothing to do with it. I have the opposite thyroid problem she does and she's been showing signs of upper addiction/ED for months. She didn't lose that weight through Hashimoto's; it could have contributed to it some but not that drastic - especially with the way she claims to eat. But the last month, she has been looking healthier in the eye area, which tells me she's doing less uppers, or drinking way more water/taking supplements/getting IV treatments.

Looked like it was mostly Angels + Karlie who got invited? Or people like Nina Dobrev who go every year to one of the viewing parties. She might not be a big enough name.

Honestly, I can't tell Candice, Romee, and Elsa apart half the time. #allblondeslookalike etc etc

Clearly it worked so well for Abercrombie & Fitch/Hollister! (Though I hear outside of US they fair pretty well). VS thinks the social media models will bring money, but as music and movie sales can show, stars like that simply bring follows, and maybe streams. Sales and tours on the other hand? If VS can't figure out how to change it, I'd start pulling more stocks. They'll be shutting down stores soon enough. But before that happens, I see an overhaul in top positions, bringing in all new people to revamp the brand. At least there's never going to be a shortage of Midwestern moms and daughters buying matching Pink outfits for Mom's Day for sororities.

Yeah, the larger sizes are mostly neutrals and maybe 3-4 styles. Reminds me of the Abercrombie & Fitch CEO or w/e it was saying his clothes were for skinny people only. That's basically how they feel, they just won't say it.

Lol VS did a big rebrand when I was working there going towards commission. Totally flopped and annoyed the customers. There's an article on Forbes that attributes the Dec 2016 sales plunge to the newest gen buying from cheaper, all-inclusive (size wise), online stores. They can't compete and the fact that the Angels are getting thinner and thinner isn't helping. Plus, I legit cannot tell Candice, Elsa, and Romee apart half the time. Sara is too short and it's time to retire Behati and Ale. Stella, Taylor, Martha, and Elsa can go too. But you know that VS will continue to pander to the social media generation. Wouldn't shock me if Kris buys Kendall into an Angel, Bella and Gigi to follow. Is Pink still helping to keep the VS brand afloat? I haven't checked their sales in comparison to VSL/VSport.

She should replace Hailey Baldwin for Guess.

I'm sure it's been discussed a thousand times, but I don't understand why Gigi doesn't see that the problem with her walk is that she steps on her heels rather than the balls of her feet. Such a simple fix that would change everything about her walk.

Stella just doesn't do it for me. Pretty face, but I don't know why they made her an Angel. Tote looks like something out of Target Mossimo Black too.

I might like the dress with different heels. I hate ankle boots with shorts, skirts, whatever. They make legs look so chunky and short even when they're the opposite.

I can't believe how grown up she looks now. I was just watching the 25th Anniv of Les Mis. Seems like forever ago now.

No she is, I had it wrong. I thought Zuri took over for Rachel, then Grace took over for Zuri. But all three are under present contracts as spokesmodels. I didn't realize they were basically like Pink's version of Angels. I thought it was one at a time.

Sara is so short though, but I do love her face. I know a lot of the girls I want to be Angels are under 5'10, but I also wouldn't be opposed to a complete overhaul of new angels who are all actually over 5'10" and not just listed that way.

Agreed! VS's December sales were down, and I read an article (on Forbes I think?) saying that it could be due to the newest gen buying from all-inclusive, cheaper, online stores. I know it's a huge stretch, but I'm reallllllly hoping that this month they'll announce Rachel as an Angel. But my money would have to go to Gigi or Grace. Rachel would make such a great Angel though.

Oh, the biggest complaint I always got was that they'd get 1 or 2 Large sizes, Pink only goes to 36DD and VSL only goes to 38-40 depending on the bra and size of the store. Like we didn't even carry the Dream Angels Darling Demi style at all. Most the teddies we got one Large. And even online, iirc, they only go up to 42. I was a 34D/36C (I'm 5'7" so pretty average) when I worked there and I would get women all the time even telling me that they were so happy to see "normal size/not skinny" girls in there. Which is insulting, but at the same time, it's like I totally get it. These models are 32B-34C/Ds at most and wearing XS and S. During bra fittings, women would always be like "why doesn't it fit the way it does in the photo" and I'd have to be like the bras in the photos are ill fitted, the bridge/gore isn't sitting properly, the cups are too small, etc. Like, I wish they'd show how a full coverage bra should really fit for it's purpose which is support, not how it should fit just to look sexy.

Agreed! They dropped Erin and Barbara for gaining weight. But I remember my manager at VS telling me they would photoshop weight on and off the girls. I always heard Karlie gained weight as an Angel because they were always adding weight to her shoots. They do the same to Stella sometimes, but I think in recent years, they've been going towards a skinnier/high fashion-esq body.

Unfortunately, they won't until she loses weight. Reason why they wouldn't even make her Pink Ambassador, though she deserved it more than Grace (I love Grace, but Rachel has always been one of the best Pink models they've had in recent years.)

She's been looking a lot healthier compared to just a month or two ago.
