So the preliminary results show that he didn't die from strangulation, or asphyxiation. Interesting. So resisting the cops, potential dope dropping, and trying to pass a counterfeit bill. The girl in the car tried the bill first, failed and then he tried it in the same store? LOL Smarted. The cops were also following protocol as per three on him, and if the autopsy shows that he didn't die as a result of the cops ..... all of this was for nothing. Will any of this be reported fairly? Nope, because it doesn't fit the agenda. Pro Tip: Don't resist the police, be calm, and do as you are asked.- The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" PIP

I have both conservative and liberal opinions on many things, some moderate as well, but the end of the day that doesn't matter because all anyone does is focus on my love of MAGA and that my points of view are different therefore to many on the left I am shite. I grew up in San Francisco bay area and used to be very liberal, then I got married, hit a new tax bracket, bought a home and moved to suburbia (which I thought I would loath, but I love the quiet and stability it offers ) and i stopped focusing on just me and what I wanted and started focusing on WE and what we needed. I had a huge shift in my reality as a result and never looked back.- The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" PIP
I refuse to have any kind of convo like this on BZ as my opinion will often be sited as being racist because I'm a white woman who supports her country and MAGA 2020. I am actually what the majority of left/liberals on this forum would hate, so I just shut up and stay in my lane. It also doesn't help that in this situation that I grew up in a extremely heavy law enforcement and military family, so I've heard about it from both sides of the coin. Back in 2006 when I showed any kind of support for President Trump or Right leaning issues I lost friends on BZ, and the relationships have never recovered as a result. Myself and a couple others were mocked, and basically told our opinions were wrong nearly daily. If we posted a video in support of what was going on it turned into a 2 page back and forth shit fest. We tried to show grace by allowing them to say whatever they wanted, while we said nothing, and in the end it left none of us thrilled with being silenced, picked on and belittle... So yeah, I don't talk about anything heavy, and if I make mention of it, I do not reply to people who want to talk about it. And I do like Candace btw.- The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" Hellraiser’ is Getting an HBO Series With David Gordon Green Directing and Michael Dougherty Writing! Daddy^^ In addition to the David Bruckner-directed film that was announced earlier this month, Deadline now reports tonight that Hellraiser is also getting a TV series courtesy of HBO! David Gordon Green (Halloween, Halloween Kills) is directing the pilot and “several more initial episodes,” and Michael Dougherty (Trick ‘r Treat, Krampus, Godzilla: King of the Monsters) is on board to write alongside Mark Verheiden (“Battlestar Galactica,” “Heroes”)! Deadline details, “The idea is to create an elevated continuation and expansion of the well-established Hellraiser mythology. It is by no means a remake, but rather assumes the past mythology to be a given. The centerpiece remains Pinhead, the pin cushion-headed merciless leader of the Cenobites, the formerly humans-turned-demons that live in an extra-dimensional realm and are activated through a puzzle box called the Lament Configuration. The Cenobites come from hell to harvest human souls and keep balance between good and evil.” The HBO series is said to be completely unconnected to the Spyglass/David Bruckner film. It will be the Clive Barker-created franchise’s very first foray into the world of television. Executive producers include David Gordon Green, Michael Dougherty, Mark Verheiden, Dan Farah, Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee, Lawrence Kuppin, David Salzman, Eric Gardner, Andrew Farah, Adam Salzman, Danny McBride, Jody Hill and Brandon James.- TV Horror/SciFi News
Channel Zero” Creator Nick Antosca Adapting True ‘Abducted in Plain Sight’ Story as Limited Series Announced today, UCP, a division of NBCUniversal Content Studios, and Nick Antosca (“The Act,” “Channel Zero”) have won the rights to Jan Broberg’s stranger-than-fiction story, with plans to turn the real-life tale into a limited series. The story had recently been told in Netflix’s shocking documentary Abducted in Plain Sight. The untitled Jan Broberg project is a limited series following the bizarre true story of the Broberg family, whose daughter Jan was kidnapped multiple times over a period of years by a charismatic, obsessed family “friend.” The Brobergs —devoted to their faith, family, and community — were utterly unprepared for the sophisticated tactics their neighbor used to exploit their vulnerabilities, drive them apart, and turn their daughter against them. This is the story of how their lives were permanently altered — and how they survived. Antosca, under his production banner Eat the Cat, will write and executive produce via his overall deal with UCP. Both Jan and her mother, Mary Ann Broberg, will serve as producers. Alex Hedlund of Eat the Cat will co-executive produce. Skye Borgman of Top Knot Films will serve as a consulting producer. Antosca is also currently working on Don Mancini’s “Chucky” series.- TV Horror/SciFi News
‘Silence of the Lambs’ Sequel Project “Clarice” Gets Series Pickup Order from CBS CBS had recently ordered up a pilot episode for a potential Silence of the Lambs sequel series titled “Clarice,” and THR reports today that the project has now been given a series pickup for the 2020-21 broadcast season. Rebecca Breeds (“Pretty Little Liars”) will star as Clarice Starling, with the cast also including Kal Penn (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle), Nick Sandow (“Orange is the New Black”) and Michael Cudlitz (“The Walking Dead”). “Clarice is set in 1993, a year after the events of The Silence of the Lambs. The series is a deep dive into the untold personal story of Clarice Starling, as she returns to the field to pursue serial murderers and sexual predators while navigating the high stakes political world of Washington, D.C.” “Brilliant and vulnerable, Clarice graduated Magna from UVA with a double major in Psych and Criminology. Her bravery gives her an inner light that draws monsters and madmen to her. Her complex psychological makeup comes from a challenging childhood, and her drive comes from her need to escape the burden of family secrets that have haunted her throughout her life.” The project is written and executive produced by Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet.- TV Horror/SciFi News

Anne Rice’s “The Vampire Chronicles” Acquired by AMC for Film and Television Projects Anne Rice was shopping around a massive television and film package for both The Vampire Chronicles and The Lives of the Mayfair Witches, and Variety reports today that AMC Networks has acquired the package and therefore landed the rights to all novels in both series’. Variety explains, “AMC now holds the comprehensive rights for the much sought-after intellectual property and will develop film and television projects for its own television networks and streaming services under the AMC Studios umbrella as well as external partner licensing. Anne Rice and her son Christopher Rice will serve as executive producers on all series and films developed under the deal.” “The deal encompasses 18 titles between the two book series, which together have sold more than 150 million copies worldwide,” the site adds. “It’s always been my dream to see the worlds of my two biggest series united under a single roof so that filmmakers could explore the expansive and interconnected universe of my vampires and witches,” said Anne Rice. “That dream is now a reality, and the result is one of the most significant and thrilling deals of my long career.” Rolin Jones (“Friday Night Lights”) is on board to develop these projects for AMC. Freeform’s 90s-Set Thriller Series “Last Summer” Becomes “Cruel Summer” With Olivia Holt Starring Freeform ordered the Jessica Biel-produced thriller “Last Summer” to series early this year, but Deadline reports today that the series has been re-titled to the more sinister-sounding “Cruel Summer.” Additionally, Olivia Holt (“Cloak & Dagger”) has been set to star. “In the series, from Bert V. Royal, Jessica Biel and eOne, Holt will play one of the two lead characters, Kate, the embodiment of teenage perfection whose life is one to be envied until she mysteriously disappears.” Mika Abdalla had played this role in the show’s pilot episode. “Cruel Summer takes place over three summers–’93, ’94, ’95–in a small Texas town when a beautiful popular teen, Kate, is abducted and, seemingly unrelated, a girl, Jeanette, goes from being a sweet, awkward outlier to the most popular girl in town and, by ’95, the most despised person in America.” “Each episode is told from the POV of one of the two main girls (Jeanette and Kate), which will have the viewers loyalties constantly shifting as more information is revealed.” “Cruel Summer” is expected to air in 2021. https://bloody-disgusting.com- TV Horror/SciFi News
Stephen King‘s “The Stand” has been a hot topic of discussion ever since the coronavirus began ravaging the United States, with many – including King himself – comparing the fictional events of the epic novel to the very real events playing out before us today. Of course, as King has been quick to point out, the novel’s pandemic is (thankfully) a whole lot worse. In any event, it’s interesting that CBS All Access was filming an adaptation of King’s “The Stand” at the time productions across the world were forced to shut down, with Josh Boone (The New Mutants) at the helm. As noted in a piece run by Vanity Fair, the series was mostly finished and will still be airing as planned, and we’ve got some first look photos today. The series will bring to life King’s vision of a world decimated by plague and embroiled in an elemental struggle between good and evil. The fate of mankind rests on the frail shoulders of the 108-year-old Mother Abagail and a handful of survivors. Their worst nightmares are embodied in a man with a lethal smile and unspeakable powers: Randall Flagg, the Dark Man. The cast includes Alexander Skarsgård as Randall Flagg and Whoopi Goldberg as Mother Abagail, and Vanity Fair’s piece provides us with our first look at those characters and more. You can check out some of the images that originally ran in their piece below, and we encourage you to head over to Vanity Fair to learn/see much more from the upcoming show. The cast also includes Jovan Adepo, Owen Teague, Greg Kinnear, Brad William Henke, Nat Wolff, Daniel Sunjata, James Marsden, Amber Heard, Odessa Young, Eion Bailey, Katherine McNamara, Heather Graham, Marilyn Manson, Hamish Linklater and Henry Zaga. Showrunners for “The Stand” are Benjamin Cavell and Taylor Elmore (“Justified”). Provided to Vanity Fair by CBS. https://bloody-disgusting.com/- TV Horror/SciFi News
Don Mancini Teases “Chucky” TV Series; “Chucky Has a Different Goal Than He’s Ever Had Before” the team discussed when Season 10 will begin filming, and other things he can’t talk about at this time. the team discussed when Season 10 will begin filming, and other things he can’t talk about at this time.all Hollywood productions during the coronavirus pandemic, filming of the upcoming 10th season is in limbo, with no start date set yet. The (original) Child’s Play franchise is headed to the small screen with Syfy‘s upcoming “Chucky,” which hails from franchise creator Don Mancini and “Channel Zero” mastermind Nick Antosca. Mancini has promised a “fresh take on the franchise” with a series that’ll “explore Chucky’s character with a depth that is uniquely afforded by the television series format.” Chatting with Syfy Wire ahead of this Thursday night’s (May 21) Child’s Play watch party over on Twitter, Mancini provides a bit more insight into what we can expect from the series. “With this TV show, our mission has been to preserve the straightforward scariness of the original film or the first couple of films,” Mancini explains. “But at the same time, continue on with this ever-expanding tapestry of consistent story that we’ve spun over the course of seven movies and 30-some years. I think fans are really gonna love to see the new characters that we introduce into this realm and just to see how they came off of our classic characters. Not just Chucky, but some of the others that you may be hoping to see. There’s a good chance they may turn up.” Jennifer Tilly, on that particular note, has already confirmed she’ll be back. Mancini also teased in his chat with Syfy Wire, “I think the prospect of seeing Chucky sharpen his skills and add to his toolbox, some of the technical goodies that we have at our disposal now, that’s something I think people will find pretty interesting. It’s so important to give Chucky new weapons, new strategies, and new targets, new goals. Chucky has a different goal in the TV show than he’s ever had before and it’s specifically something that is designed to evoke something that’s going on in the zeitgeist today.” In the upcoming series, which had been set to begin filming this summer before the ongoing coronavirus pandemic halted all productions, “After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.”- TV Horror/SciFi News
FX Moving Forward with “American Horror Stories” Spinoff Series https://bloody-disgusting.com After an Instagram tease by “American Horror Story” creator Ryan Murphy, FX is officially moving forward with “American Horror Stories,” their spinoff series that will feature “one-hour contained episodes.” Deadline reports that FX has given a formal green light to the series that will launch alongside “American Horror Story”, which has been renewed through season 13. While a standalone series, it wouldn’t be surprising to see some overlap between the two, being that “AHS” has canonized the entire series. As for “American Horror Story”, the site notes that like. In other words, it sounds like there won’t be season-long themes/storylines for “American Horror Stories,” but rather it’ll be a true horror anthology series with a new/standalone horror story told in each episode. Murphy writes on Instagram that he and the “AHS” cast discussed the spinoff in a recent Zoom chat, but what’s a little bit strange is that the photo included with the post is actually fan-made. Instagram fan page The Horror Story posted it just yesterday, imagining a Zoom reunion that hadn’t actually taken place. It would seem, however, that though the image is fake, there indeed was a legitimate Zoom hangout between Murphy and the cast. And Murphy’s caption, wherein he announces “American Horror Stories,” seems to be quite genuine.- What We Do In The Shadows
