Team pairings were decided by the team makers, who each chose a set of numbers that determined their team’s position in the bracket. If you chose 1, your group became Team 1 and was automatically matched against whoever chose 2. If you chose 3, you faced the team that chose 4, and the pattern continued all the way through the bracket. These pairings, and the teams themselves are in my opinion, some of the most interesting matchups I think I've ever seen... The lineups are unpredictable, sometimes strange, full of unknowns and lesser known models, which makes the whole thingy feel volatile in the best way.
