For some reason I overlooked these interviews (YT embeds). In the one below, from 2024, she mentions (in English) that did a test shoot for Guess in Lugano in June 2020 (their European HQ, no wonder that town keeps getting mentioned). Guess was her first commercial modeling work. A longish interview, with Paul Marciano, from early 2021. She mentions studying economics, and that her father and brother were physicians but she didn't have the appropriate temperament for such a career (cue mention of Liza Makhu's family; Francesca and Liza were in a lot of the same campaigns). Paul and Francesca are both very fluent in English.
