Michael* Posted July 13, 2015 Share Posted July 13, 2015 First episode aired in the UK last night, thought it was up there with the best of Marvel's output. Warmth and humour by the bucket load, thrills and mystery in all the right places. I spent ages trying to remember why I knew the name Vanko, and I just remembered, it was the name of the Russian scientist who worked with Howard and turned out to be a spy for the KGB. After years in exile, he raised his son to be as angry as him, and of course, the son ended up being Mickey Rourke in 'Iron Man 2'. Nice little continuity nod there.
