July 31, 200915 yr Former Dancing with the Stars contestant (and former Sports Illustrated model) Josie Maran kicks back and relaxes with her JJ coaster at the Express TXT L8TR Campaign with ELLE at Nobu restaurant in West Hollywood on Wednesday (July 29)The 31-year-old former Elite agency model was really down-to-earth and funny and sat down with JustJared.com for an exclusive interview! Check it.JJ: What have you been up to lately?JM: Just working. I have a make-up line, so I’ve been mostly doing that. JJ: Have you had any projects since Dancing with the Stars?JM: Not too much – I’ve been focusing mostly on my make-up line.JJ: How’s your 3-year-old daughter Rumi?JM: She’s awesome! Very rambunctious! She’s says, “YEAH, BOI!” Everything you say, she responds, “YEAH, BOI!”JJ: Where did she learn that from?JM: Maybe Flavor Flav? (laughs)JJ: What’s the hardest thing about being a parent? JM: It’s mostly patience. You’re used to doing your own thing and when you have to adjust your schedule, it’s a little hard.JJ: Does she wake up at night?JM: Yeah, sometimes she gets up super early like 6 or 7am, but when you have kids you have super powers!JJ: What else are you up to with eco-friendly green projects?JM: Right now I’m developing my line, making it cutting edge and green at the same time. Next year we’ll have some cool stuff! And hopefully I’ll have a bunch of other products that aren’t just make-up. Right now it’s just me, my man Ali and two other people at my company. We’re growing a lot and it’s a serious business.
