Posted October 5, 20222 yr Quote I was born and raised on the upper westside of Manhattan, but from the time that I was small I spent weekends & summers with my family in the Hudson Valley. Just out of high school, I began a career as a fashion model. At the age of twenty-one, I purchased a house of my own in Woodstock. With New York as my base, I traveled around the world on assignments, but when not working I would always retreat to the Catskills to relax and renew. More than twenty years ago I moved to Woodstock full time with my husband to raise my children, and I am happily still here. I enjoy hiking, biking, and walking so that I can bird watch and observe nature. I am also an avid gardener which compliments my bird watching. I try to plant a variety of flowers and perennials that will attract different species of birds and butterflies. I live in the beautiful and Historic Byrdcliffe area of Woodstock and walk there nearly every day. Whether walking, hiking or biking there are lots of hills so one can be sure to be in good shape. Recently I started swing dancing. I am addicted. There's lot's of opportunity for social dancing in the Hudson Valley, swing, salsa or otherwise. With so many places to choose from in Ulster County, from Mohonk and Minnewaska Parks with spectacular multi state views, to the Comeau property in Woodstock, where you can walk your dog along a trail that meanders beside the stream, there is something for everyone. bhhshudsonvalley.com
