I could be wrong though..I'm worried it’ll follow the classic 'old man dies to save the young person' storyline, meaning Leon might sacrifice himself to save Grace. Then, in the post-credits, supposedly dead Leon lifts a finger as proof of life, leaving fans to speculate about his true fate or something similar, lol.EDIT: I’m 65% 60% 67% sure Leon will die.My list:Presumably infectedGetting older / no family / nothing to loseRevisiting the place he barely survived the first time = one last ride scenarioEDIT2: Even the title strongly foreshadows someone’s death?EDIT3: Shower thought: Leon’s story arc comes full circle. This will be his final mission, setting up Grace as the new protagonist of the franchise - this is Leon passing the torch.Am I missing something? Yesterday at 04:57 AM1 day @Matt! I'm not sure what Leon's story will be (because Leon is really the star of the RE franchise- I can't imagine him being dead or this being his last game). I can't imagine Chris, Claire or Jill being dead either. Although I don't know why they used a faceless and rather dull lead in RE Village & RE7. But if they do make this Leon's last game they would probably put in fanservice because he is a fan favorite. Maybe Leon will marry Sherry or something.. or just retire for some reason. Him dying a hero would probably traumatize fans. Not Sure if Grace is a solid enough character to lead an entire game by herself- so far most of what we've seen is a pretty and very scared girl running away from monsters. Metal Gear Solid 4 also had a storyline about "Old Snake" who was dying and running out of time, and fighting his last mission. The ending and sendoff was big time fanservice.Grace's story seems more straightforward, like Clarice she will develop her courage and win, and confront her trauma (in this case it's Grace's Mother) like in the final Clarice & Hannibal scene in the film. The developers admitted that they were inspired by Silence of the Lambs.

My reasoning - I said what I said.
