July 11Jul 11 Kojima gave an interview where he said that he won't make Death Stranding 3 but has a concept for it and he'll pass it to another developer.Sad, DS2 is amazing. But neither DS1 nor DS2 has had anywhere the impact of the Metal Gear series, both games are too niche.
July 17Jul 17 Death stranding 2 underperformed in sales, much lower than ds1.Kojima for 2 decades was the most celebrated/hyped up gaming director due to MGS.His decision to stick to Death stranding- a really niche game series that's polarizing to play, more of an art piece with a much smaller scope- for a decade has definitely declined his star.
