She got her start as a runner-up in the 1990 Dolly Magazine (Australia) cover contest, and quickly ended up in New York where she was represented by top agency Pauline's. She is splendidly tall, striding the runway at 6'1". They were smart to scoop her up- she looks just like a goddess! "Two People who have turned their height to their advantage are the model Catherine Jenkins, who graces this month's Vogue cover, and the comedian Bruno Polito, who regularly disgraces audiences at Sydney's Comedy Store.But at 185 cm (6ft lin), Catherine's height was not always such an asset."I was 5ft 11in (180 cm) at 16 and hated it," she said. "I was so much taller than everyone and got called lanky and stretch the whole time.
