Reyes: "My dreams have come true"

"My dreams have come true tonight. My goals today have been better than any other goals I've scored before. The fans had faith in us and we earned a victory that crowned us as champions. I didn't play as much as I hoped in the second half of the season, but I scored two of the goals that won this League for the team and I am satisfied with that."

Reyes To Leave Real Madrid For Atletico - Report

According to Radio Marcá, the former Sevilla winger will join Atletico Madrid at the end of his loan spell with Real Madrid on June 30.

Jose Antonio Reyes, the man who practically won the La Liga title by inspiring Real Madrid's 3-1 comeback win over Real Mallorca, is set for a shock move across the Spanish capital.

Real Madrid must cough up 22 million euros in order to make his loan move permanent, and have indicated that they are in no mood to do that.

The only solution that Los Merengues seem to be in favour of is Julio Baptista staying on at Arsenal instead. However, neither the player nor the London club seem to be too keen on that.

In particular, Baptista has been critical of English football, and Arsene Wenger does not want to spend 22 million euros on the Brazilian, who has struggled at the Emirates.

With Real Madrid not wanting Reyes, and the player not wanting to return to Arsenal, the option that has been settled upon is a move to Atletico Madrid.

According to Radio Marca, the deal is almost done. Wenger sealed the agreement during his visit to Madrid a few weeks ago, during which he also asked about Fernando Torres.

The Arsenal boss was keen on a swap deal, but upon hearing of Torres' price-tag, decided against that.

Reyes will thus move to the Vicente Calderon on loan, though there is still a possibility that Arsenal could offer Reyes and around 10 million euros, in order to land Torres.

What seems certain, is that barring a miracle, the winger will be leaving Real Madrid.

I Can Play With Robben - Reyes

José Antonio Reyes is enduring an anxious wait to see if Madrid will make his loan move permanent, but he is leaving everything in the hands of his agent.

The Spanish forward has made it clear that he does not want to return to Arsenal and admits that he is desperate to move to the Bernabéu.

Despite Madrid's interest in Chelsea's Arjen Robben, Reyes believes that the pair of them could play in the same team if he switched wings.

"We are not incompatible," he explained. "I have already proved that I can also play well down the right too."

Reyes did not enjoy life in England during his time at Arsenal and has told manager Arsène Wenger in no uncertain terms that he wants to leave.

"Well, I have made it clear to Mr Wenger that want to continue at Real Madrid," he continued.

"The rest is not in my hands. It is now down to Madrid and Arsenal.

"I am remaining calm and trying to rest.

"I am keeping up with events through my representatives and just have to wait."

As Madrid prepare to travel to their pre-season training camp in Irdning, Austria and Reyes hopes that he can jet out to join them.

"That is what I want more than anything in the world right now," he added. "I have already done everything I can."

Reyes waits on Real move

Jose Antonio Reyes is waiting and hoping to make a permanent move to Real Madrid.

The Spanish midfielder spent last season on loan at The Bernabeu from Arsenal and is desperate to join the Liga champions.

Arsene Wenger has admitted Reyes is likely to leave The Gunners with the former Sevilla ace unhappy with life in England.

Reyes wants to remain with Real and is now waiting for positive news to arrive from his representatives in the coming days.

"I have made it clear to Wenger that I want to continue wearing the Real Madrid shirt," he told AS.

"I know what is happening through my representatives, now all that is left is to just hope."
