    ... saw "golden age" the other day ... well ... Cate was gorgeous and acted great as always, but the movie itself was kinda boring. I so loved the first one and was so looking forward to this one ... I also like Clive Owen a lot, but his role was far too pathetic ... the whole movie was too pathetic. And it was also too sketchily - historywise. Okay, I have to admit I read 3 books about the life of Elizabeth, one about the life of her father, two about Mary Stuart - I'm rather over-informed about the era, I guess ... :laugh:
