Which vid does it come from?

 I have that spots. Shame on me. :trout:

Am I supposed to end up with 36 quadbillion frames, I can't figure out how to get just a section of the video. :dontgetit:

Everything else looks easy, I just need to know if I'm supposed to have this many pics or if there is a way to just grab a section of the video, and export to image sequence.

There's a trouble with QT: you cannot select only a part of a MPEG vid :/ Your problem may come from this.

  • Author

If someone could give us an other soft to do the QT job, it would be nice.

Luckily the part I wanted was in the beginning of the video, so I just let it export for a minute and got the frames I needed then stopped it. ;)

I have no idea of another software to use. :(

For mac users: you can also use GraphicConverter to obtain a Image sequence. It is delivered with almost all new Macs.

You also can use it to create the animation, but I think Imageready is much more powerfull and not really harder to use.

I use Gif Movie Gear

http://www.gamani.com/gmgdown.htm

Pretty easy to use

1. open the file u want to start with

2. then press ctrl i

3. click on the next pic u want insert into the animation

4. repeat 2 & 3 until u have enough

5. Then press the play button at the top

6. The animation may be moving too fast

so u can change the speed by clicking on the clock below it to edit the timing

to move in a more suitable pace

7. Once ur finished click on file then save as

8. U might not like the end results once u check it beacuse of the size, timing etc.

so u can always right click on the file and open it with gif movie gear

9. An easy way to increase or decrease the size of a certin pic is to open it

using paint then click on image and then sketch skew to increase/decrease the

horizontal and vertical parts depending on the size u would like it to be

I hope someone understood any of that,

I tried my best :)
