Yeah, if it were up to me, I wouldn't do it and would keep it here so anyone can read it and participate. But if we're bothering other users or discussing topics that the moderators consider sensitive (even though we always try to be respectful, at least in my case), well, I don't know.

I feel like Candice has gotten a little stuck in this role of just being a lingerie or bikini model, which is something that has unfortunately happened to more than one Victoria's Secret icon, at least for a while. Although we don't know if it's because she wanted it that way, because her agency hasn't managed her well or because the industry only sees her as capable of doing “sexy girl” jobs, or maybe a mix of all of those things.

Honestly, I'm not super interested in joining a message board chat to discuss Candice. I came here to contribute to the conversation because I thought it was interesting and added some context to some of the stuff that was being discussed here. This is a message board. It's silly for any frequent visitors to assume they'll be met with only photo updates of Candice or with photos from recent campaigns (especially as many have pointed out, her work has been limited lately). If anyone is particularly annoyed/peeved by the discourse, they might choose to opt-out of visiting the thread for a while.

As far as I can tell, there wasn't that much happening prior to this. And in any case, I'm sure this will die down soon enough and people will stop discussing it. In the meantime, it's not like we're discussing another model. We're discussing current events and the speculation and history surrounding such.

I'm not familiar with the rules of this board but I don't think anyone has crossed a line here.

I'm not sure but I did hear from a mutual friend of Joan and Candice's that Candice sent Joan a message in October a few weeks before the VS show to apologize again since her prior apologies went without acceptance. Not sure about what happened exactly but I heard the message was very upsetting to Joan because Candice passed on any accountability and continued to make excuses. My guess is she wanted to send a message prior to having to see Joan in person at the show since that would be awkward. Candice tried several times in the preceding months to apologize to Joan and Joan had rejected the apologies but apparently something Candice said in October really set Joan off.

Also have heard that Candice and her team have been misrepresenting how things went down between her and Joan and have been planting stories/information concerning Joan, and that it had recently come to Joan's attention. This may inform why Joan had a few angry posts on social media and was triggered.

Hermann always cheated on Candice during their 12 years together—everyone in Vitória, Brazil, talked about it. The breaking point of the breakup was because he cheated during her pregnancy with their second child and during her postpartum period, which became very public at the time. Candice got tired of the humiliation and separated exactly this month 8 years ago. Hermann didn't care about the relationship anymore either, so they broke up.

P.S.: He met Candice when she was between 16 and 17 years old

I can't remember the post, and I can't remember the user, but this person said, maybe it wasn't Hermann, she claimed that during the Candice/Hermann period, she (the poster) ran with a friend group in LA, and one of the guys in the group had VERY explicit nude photos of Candice, but everybody (in the Reddit thread) thought it was BS, because everybody thought Candice and Hermann were rock solid until he cheated on her and they broke up, I thought it was probably those nude photos of Candice that got leaked when all those celebrities were getting their nudes leaked way back

I guess maybe not

This person commented semi regularly on NYCInfluencerSnark I think? And seemed to have a lot of insider knowledge on a lot of people in that world, so it seemed very credible she was "in that scene"

Also why Candice and Shaffer, the guy she dated for two years broke up 🤗 this was like, right before this Tom Brady saga, so while she was trying to manipulate Joan away from Tom Brady, she was actually still dating this guy too, from social media history it very much looked like Joan set Candice up with Shaffer, he shows up much further back on Joan's Instagram than he did with Candice

Could it be that Candice was dating Bad Bunny? She was at his restaurant opening and his concert, and I recall them taking photos together. I also remember Candice on vacation wearing a white T-shirt that said "Bad Bunny"—much like how, when she was dating Harry Styles, she used to play his songs

I have no idea, there was never a rumor about them like there was with her and Harry Styles or her and Kanye I think 🤔 but she's probably dated/hooked up with a lot of guys we have no idea about, anything is possible

I don't know much about what Candice's relationship with Hermann was like but I've heard from those that know her that she's cheated on him before on multiple occasions. I can believe that he was probably awful to her too and cheated. Seems like a very rough relationship and good for both of them for being out of it.

Don't want to jump to assumptions but based on her being willing to trample on friends in order to date Tom and Kanye, it would be hard to believe that she one day just woke up and decided she wanted to be more famous/be linked to A-listers. She is coming across as someone that has been plotting to 'blow up' for some time. Presumably she has thought herself superior to Hermann for some time. Or at least I've heard as much. I've also heard that she stopped talking to her family for a while over Hermann and that he was a source of tension between her and her family. No bueno.
