Francois-Henri Pinault is the father of Linda Evangelista's son Augustin James Despite Canadian supermodel Linda Evangelista refuses to reveal the identity of 4-year-old Augustin's biological father, New York Post reports that it is none other than Francois-Henri Pinault, French billionaire and husband of Mexican actress Salma Hayek, with whom he too has a child, Valentina, also 4. Unverified rumors of Pinault's paternity have been circulating since 2007. However, Page Six spotted 46-year-old Evangelista on her way to court yesterday, apparently to set up a support agreement with her son's dad. The Manhattan magistrate's court action confirmed that Francois-Henri Pinault fathered her child. Augustin James was allegedly conceived in early 2006, when Pinault was reportedly separated from then-gal pal Hayek. The actress and the businessman made up and then broke up again in July 2008, but finally reconciled and tied the knot a year later during Valentine's Day in Paris. Seemingly, no agreement was reached, so there will probably be a support trial held this autumn. Evangelista was previously linked to Peter Morton, whom she started dating in late 2006, approximately, when the model was already pregnant with Augustin James. Nevertheless, the couple split up last summer.
