Hod do I add a signature?

I am sorry if this is blindingly obvious, but I don't see any option in my profile to add a simple text signature to my posts. Can anyone enlighten me? thanks.

Go to the upper right corner where is your username. Click on it

On the menu that'll appear go to "Account Settings"

 

Once there, on the left panel go to "Signature"

 

And there you can edit it.
