It truly sucks, I really can't think of any other word to describe it.What sucks the most is that I'm finally going to be able to watch Real play in person for the first time when the play the Galaxy and Raul's not going to be there and he was the one I was the one I wanted to see the most. He went home and told his parents his dad was eating soup and when he told them his dad was shaking so much. Its like I can still remember how he got teh captains armband from Hierro and now, after all those years, its all over? He was the only reason I still was cheering for Madrid, even tho they made it hard to me with the Galactico mistake part II and all. MY LOVE FOR RM STARTED WITH RAUL & IT ENDS WITH HIM TOO So I agree, Real Madrid lost all what made them special and unique. Raul ends an era, including the time of my being a RM fan. I really hope they will keep their word and retire his number 7. If they dare to give it away again I will lose any kind of faith into such a greta club. The club, Mourinho had asked him to stay but he said he spoke to all his family and friends and decided this was his last chance to experience something new. He said you can't choose how you finish your career because someone asked would he had liked to leave like Zidane did on the field. His most difficuly opponent was Pep Guardiola It's a new chapter for him and he is looking forward to it.
