An Evil Dead TV show is coming to Starz and Bruce Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash.

Evil Dead fans, rejoice. The movie is now going to become a TV show and is coming to Starz!

The original Evil Dead movie was frightful back in the day and inspired other films. The remake, unless many movies, was just as good as the original.

Fans of the film and of Bruce Campbell are no doubt excited that Starz has given the green light to an Evil Dead TV show. Oh, did we mention that Bruce Campbell is starring in the television series, reprising his role as Ash? The description of the show is as follows:

“Bruce Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its ‘Evil’ grip.”

Although Campbell was not in the Evil Dead remake, like he was in the original, he was a part of Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness.

The Evil Dead TV show will premiere on Starz sometime in 2015.

Excited for this, the original movie was great (in a cheesy way) and the new movie was just great in every way a horror movie could be great.

Excited about this. I loved the original and I really enjoyed the remake. So I think this is going to be great.
