Posted July 27, 200915 yr India Eisley (born October 29, 1993) is an America-based actress best known for playing the spunky Ashley Juergens in the ABC Family teen drama The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She was born to singer and actor David Glen Eisley (90210, Dirty White Boy, SpongeBob SquarePants) and actress Olivia Hussey (Romeo and Juliet). Eisley and Olivia Hussey appeared in the movie Headspace (2005) together. After other small roles at a very young age in various independent films shot primarily in Europe, Eisley gained a major role during the summer of 2008 with The Secret Life of the American Teenager for the ABC Family Network. In The Secret Life of the American Teenager, India plays Ashley Juergens, the thirteen-year-old sister of Amy Juergens, who has a baby at age fifteen. Ashley has a sort of dry humor and rebellious personality in the Juergen household, but is quite smart and seems to avoid the drama that goes on,she is actually a wet blanket in the show, and enjoys wearing high heels. <Bio courtesy of Wikipedia.>
