but the one Ana has is in green color and turkish flag is in green color :p

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Green is also a Muslim color, right?

Maybe the Turkish flag has crescent and moon painted in green to symbolise a Mulsim country.

Turkish flag is not green, it's red.

oh sorry actualy i meant its in RED color..green is for pakistan..and yes green color represent Islam..but turkish dont have green color..

i dont think the tattoo is green in colour...as i know her entire family has it and she must've done it when she was much younger....when exposed to the sunlight etc etc, tattoos have the tedency of becoming discoloured...most commonly it takes a shade of dark green.... and she doesnt sound muslim in any way...maybe the family visited paki or turkey and got it done there...just a taught!!

Crescent and star is a Muslim symbol.

So, she is a Muslim?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

beside crescent being muslim symbol..its the symbol of Pakistani flag and i'm sure one Ana has is PAKISTAN'S flag..may be she has some link with that country

I dunno what exactly it is but it has somethin to do with oriental symbols! oky, here I found somethin!!!

http://www.symbols.com/encyclopedia/29/2914.html - if you want to read it all

so it?s finally a symbol for Venus maybe :D Ale has the same!!

Thanks for the info Jennka.

Its similar to Turkish and pakistani flags. But In the Turkish flag, the Crescent moon and star doesnt mean Muslims or islam . Flag has legends about meaning of flag but none of them about muslims or islam.

I agree with Jennka, definitely this tattoo about venus symbol. There is no link with Turkey, pakistan or muslims.

And very beautiful tatoo by the way.
