June 18, 200618 yr Author Pipsa is one of the few Finnish supermodels I suppose. She is unknown here, I mean if you ask someone whether they know who Pipsa is, the answer is most likely 'no'. However she is still bigger than those models we have here on the cover of daily newspapers and editorials. There was this interesting article once where they compared how the Finnish models make money. The real Finnish supermodels are not in the gossip mags here like former Miss Finlands-turned-models for example. I kinda like her look and she pops up in mags every once in a while. I have even met Pipsa actually! I was in a language course in England in 1997 (I had just turned 17 back then) and we went there through Paris, France. We had two Finnish guides, one man, one woman. The man knew Pipsa and she hang around with us for a while. I remember her being incredibly tall and slim and looking like a model!
