February 17Feb 17 Roxanne Matthee is a South African fashion model, orginally from a small town called Melkbosstrand, close to Cape Town. She was born on 19 November 1995 and started her modeling career at 12 years old when she was scouted at a local fashion show. At the show, a man asked her to visit a modeling agency in Cape Town, which was the start of her modeling career. She has contracted some agencies, so she would have more exposure. This allowed her to work with big names in the industry. She modeled for Decleor, Huawei, Rafaello, L’Oréal, and Schwarzkopf. Other than modeling, she likes to hike, cook, surf, dance, walk on the beach, camp, and work out. Before modeling, she studied nutrition and now, she is studying French. The best thing she liked about modeling is getting a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, travel around the world, exploring several places that are not open to the public. Thanks to the modeling job, her confidence is improved, and she can see herself grow as a person. Moreover, it helps her to be patient and appreciate her success. Since she is a family person, support of her family means everything to her. Without their support, she could have never been successful. As far as traveling is concerned, she visited Zurich and Basel. She thinks Switzerland is a beautiful country and full of fascinating places. Roxanne idolizes Candice Swanpoel and Gisele Bundchen. She thinks they both are wonderful models, smart and hard working. She wants to travel the world and start her own business.
