December 4, 201410 yr Author And today is's been 49 years since the release of this one: Rubber Soul The biggest turning point in the band's career in my opinion. And it came out only 4 months after Help!
January 5, 201510 yr I'm a huge Beatles fan and I am absolutely loving all of the videos!! I do actually know people who have never heard of The Beatles and every time I am told that by someone my heart breaks, both for them and for the state of music in general.
January 5, 201510 yr Author ^ Another fan Yes, that is actually a sad thing... What are your favorite albums/songs?
January 6, 201510 yr I find it hard to believe there aren't more Beatles fans on here. Hmm... This is a difficult question. Revolver and Rubber Soul are both beyond incredible overall, but they have so many that are.
January 6, 201510 yr Author Those under Sgt. Pepper's, except With a Little Help From My Friends, are actually from Magical Mystery Tour . And by I Want to Tell You a Secret on Revolver, you mean I Want to Tell You, right? Nice list! I'm suprised about these: With The Beatles:Don't Bother MePast Masters:Sie Leibt Dich I'll do the same exercise, though I won't include covers. January 19, 201510 yr Author I've always thought these 3 songs are key in the development of heavier forms of Rock. It may lack the aggressiveness later explored by specially The Who, but these riffs are definitely something to be taken in consideration.
