Twitter is very lively following tonight's episode. Even all three of the judges are passively involved :ninja: :lullaby:

Spoiler:

Great episode, I think Karolina made a good call eliminating Sandra, her team is strong enough to beat any other team, Naomi definitely brings the drama but always with a lesson behind it. You can see the tables are shifting constantly to see who is the best candidate for each team.

I want Ebony to win, her personality speaks volumes of her, but I think Zil Lin will win (Chinese market, super tall, only problem is the English) I loved Ebony, Zi Lin and Margaux pictures for Ultra shown at the end of this weeks show.

I want it to be this way: 1. Ebony, 2. Zi Lin, 3. Devyn and 4. Margaux :D

Thank you again PC for taking the task of recording and uploading all the episodes for us to watch it, many many thanks !

As for the winner (spoiler)

I was very shocked that Devyn won, I mean congratulations to KK :woot: She was the only supermodel who kept it professional and fairness throughout the competition and also the only coach to let the contestants do their job in their own way, discover how to make it work, instead of giving constant direction a la Naomi, or shape their expressions a la Coco. Really glad KK won!!

Oxygen Orders Second Season of ‘The Face’

Oxygen has picked up a second 10-episode season of The Face, produced by Shine America. The model competition show, which gives aspiring models from ordinary backgrounds an opportunity to compete to become the face of a major brand, is executive produced by Naomi Campbell and distributed by News Corp.'s Shine International.

Shine began shopping the format at this week's MIPTV festival in Cannes, France. Oxygen Media, co-founded by Oprah Winfrey in 1998, was bought out by NBCUniversal in 2008. NBCUniversal is owned by cable giant Comcast.

A U.K. version of the format, for British TV giant BSkyB's Sky1, was confirmed in March. News Corp. owns a 39 percent stake in BSkyB.

Devyn Abdullah, a 21-year-old single mother from the Bronx, won the first season of the The Face, becoming brand ambassador for ULTA Beauty’s 2013 fall and holiday national advertising campaign.

“We are excited to get back on the catwalk for season two as we bring in a few new twists along the way,” said Rod Aissa, senior vp of original programming and development at Oxygen Media.

The season finale of The Face on March 26 attracted nearly 554,000 total viewers, up eight percent from the season premiere in February.

“We are thrilled that The Face resonated with viewers, and our team at Shine is excited to get back to work, producing a second season with our great partners at Oxygen,” added Rich Ross, CEO of Shine America.

Naomi Campbell’s Show The Face Coming To UK

19 MARCH 2013 | SARAH KARMALI

A BRITISH version of Naomi Campbell's television show, The Face, is coming to the UK. The reality programme - which sees aspiring models competing against each other to become the face of a world-renowned brand - will air on Sky Living later this year.

The show launched on the Oxygen network in the US in February, featuring Campbell - who also acts as executive producer of the series - alongside fellow model mentors, Coco Rocha and Karolina Kurkova. Campbell will also star in the British version, but the additional two judges have yet to be announced.

"I am looking for the ultimate model. It doesn't matter where you are from or who you are, The Face is about one thing," said Campbell. "I'm looking for contestants who have the whole package - a beautiful face, great body, unique look, confidence, drive and passion, the ability to change and transform, a willingness to follow direction and above all, a strong work ethic."

The show format sees each of the three mentors selecting a team of four hopefuls to guide through the eight-week series. Over the course of the show, the teams compete against each other in a series of real-life industry challenges - including photo shoots, catwalk shows and brand campaigns.

"Bringing the show over from the US is a real honour and it's great to be working with Princess Productions and Shine TV," said Campbell. "UK talent is world class, so I'm really looking forward to uncovering our next rising star. The show is a real insight into the modelling world - it's authentic and fast-paced."

Auditions to take part in the British version of The Face are currently being held around the UK. Female models aged 18 and over and who wish to apply should email [email protected]. Production will commence in the spring, with an air date to be confirmed later.
