So not that unusual. It's bizarre that they chose to have the same name of a huge and well established company like Lindor chocolate, anyone with common sense would know that their little brand with the same name would disappear next to it. I grew up in Italy, this is an Italian brand, and never in my life have I heard of Lindor wool (and my mom was heavy into fashion), because everyone associates the name with something else. I know it happens, but the choice was bizarre, and clearly self sabotaging.

Never in a million years would I have recognized her in that Olmar ad, she looks so different 😳🤯

Then she made it big on Italian TV. In any case, Dutch models were very popular in Italy in the 80s and 90s, even according to the agencies.

But she's not Tatjana. (I can't write anything about her without being moved, like Anne Fiona).

Italy has always had its share of "foreign" TV hosts, they have a thing for foreign accents there. Not only Ellen, but I also remember Michelle Hunziker and Belen Rodriguez have had huge runs in Italy as TV hosts. Eva Herzigova, Valeria Mazza and Ines Sastre co-presented the singing show San Remo, and many others whose names I can't think of on top of my head. I remember being shocked by how good Eva's Italian was. I haven't been back to Italy for nearly 10 years, my memory of names has rusted.
