I usually create my scans in PNG format, and they open normally... I hope it's just a software update phase.

I 20 years scan always in jpg I think the photo format doesn't matter for this problem.

I think it is maybe related to the fact that doing Mädchen jobs was not very prestigious and often real models (not the Munich based teenagers that they usually streetcast) didn’t wanted to be associated with the magazine with their names. As a result model names were sometimes changed. Same goes for photographers whose names were changed as well. Photographer Cees van Gelderen for example shot a lot for Journal für die Frau magazine under different aliases as he was usually rather on an Elle level and didn’t want to harm his career but wanted to take the jobs with him 😜
