I hate everytime I am viewing a model picture and porn pictures come out, how can I make it stop? I really hate it.

can people stop uploading pictures in imagebam. They are other better website to upload pictures.

Yeah that really annoys me too! It's not just imagebam though. There are at least a couple others that do the same thing. I'm sick of clicking on links to pictures and having

I've just checked IB and I didn't see any porn pics or even ads...

But if it's a problem to others I can upload photos to other host. ImageShack, ImageVenue, Postimage... which would be better?

I hate pop ups too, I use Adblock plus now and have been for awhile, but I do know some image hosts (postimage & turboimage) only set them if the photo you upload has adult content, e.g. Nipples showing, etc. And if you don't correctly set it as ''family safe" or ''adult content'' images get deleted. But, yeah. Adblock plus is amazing.

i think here the real problem is respect.

for me it's a kind of do what i say, but not i make.

follow my orders but don't follow my acts. many things are asked to bellazon member like avoid hotlink, nudity on the forum, respect a size for the pictures, don't make advertising, or the promotion of other forums about modelings etc and if you don't respect these rules you can be banish. and in same time bellazon with these rules incite people to post their stuff on websites with pornography. i have nothing personal against porn itself, but here in this context, that's very displaced. and say use firefox for me, can be a solution for some people (but not for the one who use their phone, are in a cyber-cafe, or use the hotel's computer, or the one who don't wanna download strange software with maybe in the end a virus or just some people don't speak english or don't really understand and these kind of software are often only in english with complicated words. and i'm not really sure than all the people who come on this forum including 37000 members speak english fluently...

and for me when i saw the forum "cheer" websites like imagebam, it sounds like a kind of "you must srepect the forum but the forum shouldn't respect you."

if pornography is not allowed on the forum this is for a good reason. and for me ask to people to use firefox is not an answer. and i think follow its own rules and respect the member is a minimum. i don't think that's very complicated to check and select few good hosting website without porn and avoid hosting like imagebam... certainly less complicated than ask to 37000 members and maybe 1 million of visitor to download and maybe buy many softwares to stop this problem.

Well I use google chrome, I also have firefox, but I like google chrome because is a lot faster, and I also have the option to login in bellazon, and when I use firefox I can't login to bellazon.

which is funny is the fact there are rules to avoid to the members to post stuff from magazine like playboys or webistes like elite model look and even talk about other modeling forum like the fashion spot but ask them to make a selection of few GOOD hosting websites without porn, where we all could post our stuff sound like an impossible thing. i talk about this problem of pornography since december or january but nothing had been done against it.

it took few minutes to do it, but they can't make this effort.

this is "fabulous" all the drama queen mess some members do against few advertisings threads for viagra, travels or clothes stores who are watched 50 or 100 times and who complain all the times because these advertisings are horrible-horrible-horrible and MUST be DELETED. and next to it nobody take care of these porn advertising, who come on the forum by exactly the same way than the advertings threads (links toward external websites) and who had been watched maybe 1 million of times.

(Y) I completely agree with this. I mean, just because I click a link to see a picture with some tasteful nudity, does not mean I want to see pictures of

anal sex

and other such filth!

And yeah, it's amazing that we have to be warned about viewing female nipples, yet there's no warning about being bombarded with pornography when we do!

Apart from all our personal feelings on the matter, to display nudity in a post for all to see is not allowed here. We have to textlink nudity and write down a nudity warning, so that everyone who clicks the link knows that he/she is going to see nudity. That's the rule. Some of the admins told me it's got something to do with BZ's advertising partners and helps keeping the forum free of charge for its members.

So basically if you click on a link that warns about nudity and you can think to yourself that by using a free imagehost there's likely some advertising for other nude (i.e. porn) content and you know you might feel offended by this kind of advertising - why click on the link in the first place? If it's so massive important for you to see the picture, why not asking the member that posted it to E-Mail it to you? Or to provide the link of the source, so you can check it out yourself? Or ask another member, that's not offended by porn, to download the pic and send it to you?

I mean there are dozen ways apart from using Firefox Add-ons to get your hand on the picture. Also I guess ad blockers are available for every other of the common browsers.

I myself am using imageupper, because it's fast and easy. But they too have the rule that nudity must be hosted in the adult section, that means you're likely to get porn advertising. I'm far from liking it when the first thing I see after clicking a link is someone else's vagina or penis, but hey, Sex is all around the internet. At least you should get a warning here at BZ first, until your mind is flooded with naked limbs.

Carmelita, here we don't talk about allow or not nudity on the forum and not, but we are talking about the hosting website and i'm sorry but some hosting are good, another are not... but don't ask me their name. it's like russian roulette. if i talked about imagebam it's because to follow bellazon's rules i use this website like the forum suggested and i saw all my stuff surrounded by pornography. and for people who are disgusting by pornography or just young people this is insane.

what we want is a list of good hostings without porn and a rule/list "against" the ones who use porn like the forum do with for example pictures from elite model look. and this is what i already said and criticed there are 2 weeks ago in thefashionspot thread where i saw talk about this kind of forum wasn't allowed but incitate people to post on hosting website with pornography is allowed. and there i don't think these rules had been created because bellazon woud sponsoring these sites. and i'm sorry, if people must avoid nude pictures because the foum can't make GOOD rules to avoid pornography that's very creepy.

and because the forum staff is to lazy - i don't find another word to describe it, they even can't deleted by their own a thread about vietnamese travel agency who's in the art & literature since one month and 10 moderators (or more) in one month can't check the name of 5 first threads of this section and must wait than the other members must make their job... - now we also should send maybe 5000 emails to other members because the bellazon's staff can't lose 5 minutes of their time too select few good hosting websites! A it could take a lot of time to do it. B i'm not sure everybody is interested to give their private emails to maybe thousand unknown people... because then we can find their names, maybe professional informations, maybe where they live if they post a message on a website to find a roomate, find their facebook or twitter etc etc etc and of course it's still better to give personnal informations on a forum and give your email where there are stuff like important business and bank... and trust me this is not hard to crack an email... i already did it more than a single times and this is really easy (and i know, not legal) . if we use a pseudonym it's for a good reason. and C they must be members, because anonymous users can't do the same. i'm not sure you can imagine how ridiculous this proposition is. you try to find a solution and that's nice, but seriously...

can you tell me why pornography is not allow to people under 18 years old ? for the same reason of why they are allow in nudist camps but why they are refused in swinging clubs. and can you tell me why if everytime we wanna see a picture with nudity we must be ready to see porn, why porn doesn't deserve the same rules than nudity on this forum ? why porn itself is not allowed even with red warning and links but why the forum insitate people to use hosting website with pornography ?

and as someone who know nothing about hosting websites, and because bellazon is the only forum i know who refuse the hotlink, but i understand why so i respect this rule, but when i would like to correctly do it and follow bellazon's advice because as i said i know nothing about it, i'm obligated to post my stuff on website full of pornography. that's really a big contradiction! and i'm not the only member in this situation. so o we post nothing, or we spam the forum with pornography.

Sorry, Baby, that the staff does not work according to your high hopes. We are all just devoted members who do the moderating in our free time, we all have full time jobs to attend to first. We are a community, we strongly depend on the other forum members to report rulebreaking posts and threads and spam.

As I understood the rule against nudity is only because of BZs advertising partners, it is limited to the BZ server and does not include links outside the BZ server - as long as there's the Nudity warning. If you want to suggest a porn free image host, who does allow the upload of pictures displaying nudity without being connected to pord advertising, feel free to post the link and I will see to it that it will be included in the image host list in the FAQ section.

yes moderators are really people with full job as everybody on this forum... but be at the point that they even can't check the name of the 5 first threads in the art & literature and notice there is a thread who should be deleted... it take 3 secondes. 3 secondes in one month for 10 moderators = 0.3 secondes. so at this point i even can't call it "full time job" but slave life... and that's a real performance to have a such important numbers of posts on the forum which such busy lifes... near to break the rules of the spacetime... be carefl or it could created a black hole.

about the email , as i told you, people won't give their private email and send 5000 emails. "why not asking the member that posted it to E-Mail it to you" how do you think the other people including visitors would ask to the member who had posted the picture to send them an email ? by telepathy ? or with an email ? and to send an email to someone, maybe you must know his email adress? and because bellazon's can't add pictures in private mails (if i'm not wrong) we are obligated to use our private email to send the picture. and seriously all these mess for a picture is very "sci-fi" (which perfectly work with the spacetime). so as i told you, do you think a lot of people would be agree to give the private email to unknonw people ? i don't think. and i think send one by one all the time the same pictures is ridiculous.

this is what i find in 3 minutes (including the time i spent to test them) and i've been obligated to stop because my computer told me i could catch a virus because of another hosting i visited. and catch a virus for of bellazon is not my cup of tea... particularly for someone like me who work at home on the computer. and this is not my job to take the risk to ruin m computer. if i was a moderator or admin maybe, but i'm not and i'm not ready to do it and ask to the other members to assuming my function.

that's just crazy to see that. 3 minutes divised by 10 moderator it makes 18 seconds per person. but that's true than 20000 and 24000 posts had certainly never took so much time.

Well, I can only speak for myself, but I'm mostly busy in the models section, therefor threads in Arts&Literature go beyond my notice, I'm afraid. That's why I said we depend on the other members to report rulebreaking to the staff. We can't have our eyes everywhere.
