I'm new here, but I read through these posts the last few weeks/month hoping that Luisa will get back the special look, that something I saw in her eyes at the GNTM cycle.

Now it seems NY brings new hope! It's really nice to see the first results, to see that she still can do for what I loved her at the beginning.

 

Hope OE won't cause any troubles!?

I also cant wait for the NYFW and hopefully before we can see some publikations in magazines. I think it is time for editorials like the Lange images! have shown:-) she has not done much till now in this way. Hope a magazine or fotographerer will fall in love with her look , like the Elle magazine did once with young Claudia Schiffer.

I hope so, too. New York City is a big chance for her to do the right thing now- I wish her so much success! Far away from OE... with her special appearance, for one thing she has a very contemporary look, for another thing she is a strong beauty as the singular stars from the supermodel-era (Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington etc.).

... the good old supermodel Aera, I loved it so much. And especially the supermodels in these times. There were some models on top and this over many many years, very different models, but these where other times... in the now times there are many many young models in the szene and the competion is stronger as in the 90 th. But indeed she would perfectly match but there are so many girls there at moment, megamodel Cara Delevigne is the new star of our times and otheres... but I will keep her all fingers crossed for a chance in this szene. And I think today only some models are known by name, there are so many unknown models at the catwalks. But I think the designers don´t want this aera back. Luisa has star appeal and I think she could be one of the models known by name and not only from us...

Hi Siri, welcome! Didn't we talk yesterday? I'm sure Luisa will walk on the NYFW. Erin Wassons Showcard is so similar to the very first pic from the Christoph Lange shooting we have seen, I'm quite sure that this will be Luisas Showcard.

I really really really hope that you're right. Luisa just has to walk at NYFW. I can't imagine anything else. If not, I would be very disappointed.

 

Pics like those she did with Lange, walking at NYFW (for more than Cezar - which probably was a "Pro7/GNTM thing"?!) ... these things could open the door for her to the wolrd of a real topmodel. I wish her all the best. Hoping... hoping... like the weeks before.

hello SiriJinn, the pic of Luisa and Keno is from his new tumblr (http://realkenoweidner.tumblr.com/). He posted his tumblr account on his facebook page some days ago. Keno published another pic of Luisa and him recently (the one with the skateboards).

I also hope that Luisa will walk at NYFW and I would definitely appreciate it if she would walk on some more shows than just one.

Sheila, I enjoyed the site with the supermodels - and the style of these pictures - very much... The first time I saw some of them I was watching the iconic and a bit dramatic music video: George Michael / Freedom.

 

Each face is very special. Why do you mean that the designers don´t want the era back? Because of the fame of the models and the attention? Luisa has enough star appeal to get very popular and one of the modern topmodels, I definitely agree!!

 

And Mike, thank you! Indeed I missed the show. I think that Luisa will be on more runways than just one. Now she has a really good agency behind her and a better showcard (I cannot expect that ! ).

Yes Freedom video... I know it very well and love it. This was at the high of supermodel era...

George Michael engaged these amazing personalities. Yes they were very beautiful, great faces but very special and different.

I will write you soon a PN what I mean with the designers and fashion industries dont want this era back.

Only this: these models reigned these years with million dollar incomes and I know for example that Claudia got 25.000 Usd for one single appearenche at catwalk for Versace or Chanel.....yes correct they drived the model gages to sky and clothes lost their interesting of people because masses only wanted to see the supers and clothes lost the importance. But this is Luisas page she should get the full attention here.I will write you more about next time. Cheers Sheila

You´re absolutely right, Sheila. It´s Luisa´s page. Luisa reminds me often of the supermodels, she has the same magic. For that reason I brought up this topic. Your explanationes were very interesting, such a big wage...puh. Now I understand. Thank you. (We can write a PN, maybe you have a book tip for Lange?)
