Asta Buziliauskaite is a Lithuanian model. Her father is a truck driver and her mother works in a supermarket. She learned English in the three months before she left for the United States. Buziliauskaite won the 2001 Ford Supermodel of the World contest when she was 16, receiving a $250,000 modelling contract with Ford Models. Following this, she put her contract on hold for a few months to catch up on her classes back at school in Lithuania. She told Seventeen magazine that she would like to go on to study medicine and become an obstetrician.
