Victoria's Secret Model Marisa Miller gives troops treat with messages of support and pin-up posesAll-American model Marisa Miller proved she is more than just a pretty face this Veterans Day. The Victoria's Secret Angel announced that she is hanging up her wings in order to devote time to projects supporting the U.S military. The leggy 33-year-old beauty is an ambassador for the USO and saluted the troops with a series of 40's pin-up themed poses to celebrate Veterans Day this year. "It is amazing working for VS," Miller told Fox News, "but at the same time it is time to branch out on my own and focus on the projects I want to focus on." The model posed in a variety of retro-style outfits with military hats and platform shoes to honour the men and women who serve in the US military. "My grandfather and uncle are veterans," Miller explained, "and I am always humbled to see their sacrifice and others' sacrifice for our daily freedoms." The model also regularly visits military bases and receives frequent fan mail from American troops worldwide. "It is always a neat experience when you come face to face with men and women who serve. You really see the sacrifice they make," she said. 'I have been sent pictures of my picture posted and they take my picture overseas," Miller added. "I’m just so humbled by the response I get, and that’s why it is so important when I have the opportunity to give back." As for her future plans, Miller said: "I’m working on a TV show right now, I can’t give too many details about it but I’m really excited. It’s about going to support our troops.' 'Doing the show with the military is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, I’ve been approached a lot to do television shows, but I’ve waited to do something that is really personally important to me," she explained. The multi-tasking model has also teamed up with Harley-Davidson. Miller posed in a khaki military hat and a skin-tight body suit on a Harley Davidson motorcycle in one of the promotional shots and in pencil skirt in another.
