Chris Milk took home director of the year accolades Wednesday night at the 16th annual Music Video Production Assn. Awards.

Milk won the category on the strength of three clips: Kanye West's "Touch the Sky," U2 and Green Day's "The Saints Are Coming" and Gnarls Barkley's "Gone Daddy Gone."

"Touch the Sky" also was named for hip-hop video of the year, while "Saints" won trophies for rock video of the year and best special effects, presented to VFX house Sway Studio.

Christina Aguilera's "Hurt," directed by Floria Sigismondi and Aguilera, was honored as video of the year, and Michael Haussman's clip for Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack" won for pop video of the year.

The selection for adult contemporary video of the year went to the Fray's "How to Save a Life," helmed by Mark Pellington, who co-directed the upcoming "U2 3D" stereoscopic 3-D film. The Michel Gondry-directed "Cellphone's Dead" for Beck earned a trophy for alternative video of the year.

My Chemical Romance's Samuel Bayer-directed "Welcome to the Black Parade" won a pair of awards: styling (Colleen Atwood) and colorist (Beau Leon).

Helmer Wayne Isham received the organization's Lifetime Achievement Award at the affair, hosted by comedian Jimmy Pardo at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

Participating In Two Events For Hillary Clinton!

.. And now Christina Aguilera is coming to the rescue. The pop singer is participating in two events for Clinton -- one a May 30 fundraiser at the home of Hollywood director Brett Ratner, co-hosted by Eva Longoria, Jeremy Piven, Heather Graham, Penélope Cruz and Mike Myers, and the other a concert in New York in early June.
