Taylor is a money printing machine.. she toured like crazy for 2 yrs and managed to release an album at the same time. After finishing she releases another one after a few months.

I know right? Now everyone's posting their "showgirl" looks on social media. It's just insane.

On Sunday, Taylor Swift officially wrapped up the Eras Tour in Vancouver after 149 shows in 21 countries, totaling about 484 hours spent performing on stage.

Swift performed her final show on Sunday at BC Place in Vancouver, capping a remarkable run that spanned five continents and grossed over $2 billion, the highest-earning concert run in history. In her newly published book, Swift described it as "the most wondrous tour of my life."

Her 'Tortured Poets" album grew on me and I ended up liking it.

TBH I am not sure how she is able to create an album while touring.

This new album appears to be a change in tone, like "Lover". Probably more pop oriented.

He surely doesn't know too much about history...

I attended a higher end public school, I recall one of my history teachers complaining about the flaws of the curriculum they were forced to teach by regulations.

We were taught a white washed/triumphant/supremacist/propagandized version of American version of history in the 1990s that seems almost laughable today.

Taylor's "Tortured poets society" grew on me. I quite like it..

I don't know how her team/she manages to be so productive. She released an album while touring all the time, stops and then releases another one in a few months..

This new album looks like a tone shift to upbeat/pop based on the photos. Like the 'Lover' album. The way they do things is that she switches from light to dark, dark to light to mix things up.

I’m not worried about him inventing new historical events, but politically inconvenient topics such as slavery, racism, controversial wars or presidential impeachments could be removed/reframed. That means erasing historical facts and replacing them with Donald-approved state narratives.

What I am saying is that, that was literally how I and other people were taught history in the 1990s. We were basically taught a form of history to be obedient to the state/society's institutions etc. and not question it. I am not a kid now so I don't know how it is taught in 2025. But we had to re-educate ourselves in history as adults. We didn't have such evolved internet and free thinking in those days.

The way the mainstream media currently discusses about history/frames history is a reflection of our public school system's conception of reality.

Overall that influencer compared historical education to Nazi Germany/North Korea...the reality is that we are not as distant from them as we think.

Mmmm, teaching history to enforce obedience and discourage questioning definitely shows authoritarian characteristics...not what I'd expect from American education (unless you attended Donald University).

It’s concerning when history lessons keep people stuck in "official" narratives instead of encouraging critical thinking. Questioning and seeking different perspectives is indispensable in modern education IMO.

1989 (normal version) was the my first Taylor album and I loved it. Midnights was brilliant as well. I just love to listen songs from here and there.
