The Trump Organization quietly rescinds 'built in the U.S...

It has also reduced the technical specs for the phone and stopped offering a specific date for the launch of its service.

Trump Mobile removes ‘Made in the USA’ language from site

The Trump Organization’s new mobile phone venture, Trump Mobile, has removed language from its website suggesting that its forthcoming smartphones will be made in the U.S.  Trump Mobile, which…

“Be the first to get your T1TM when you pay for your first month of TrumpSM Mobile service and shipping and handling fee.

You'll only be charged $100 today. When we release the T1TM Phone later this year, you'll be the first to receive it! You won't be charged the remaining balance ($399) until your device ships.“

So basically those who preordered the phone got scammed. Unless you really want a “patriot” phone made in China. doofywave

US MIC is starting to disagree with the Trump regime's claims and clearly would like Trump to order more bombing missions. Also, the ordinance expended is very expensive and replenishment would result in contracts in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

This whole situation from the US assumes that the Iranians are retarded and didn't consider the high possibility that their nuclear facilities would be targeted, whether 10, 20, or 30 years ago..

Folks, listen up, alright? This new Netflix UI update, I mean, c’mon, man, it’s a real mess, no joke! Back in the day, you could, uh, you know, zip through the shows, find what you want, bam, easy as pie. Now? It’s like they took the whole thing and, uh, turned it into a dog’s breakfast! These big ol’ thumbnails, they’re takin’ up the whole screen—can’t see more than two or three shows at a time, for cryin’ out loud!

And the scrollin’? You’re scrollin’ till your thumb’s worn out, tryna find somethin’ good. Used to be, you know, you’d see all the categories, new stuff, your list—boom, right there. Now it’s like navigatin’ a corn maze with no map! Look, I’m from Scranton, we like things simple, straightforward, no malarkey. This new layout? It’s got folks madder than a wet hen, and I get it. They’re sayin’ it’s “intuitive,” but it’s about as intuitive as a Rubik’s cube in the dark. We gotta get back to basics, make it easy to find your shows, not this, uh, this high-tech hullabaloo. C’mon, Netflix, let’s build back a better app, alright?

Love watching these WIRED expert interviews. This one was specially educational, 10/10.

"Most complex and secretive military operation in history". This just proves that Pete knows absolutely nothing about U.S. military operations - from D-Day, Desert Storm to the Bin Laden raid and modern-day black ops.

TBH all the trash talking, fraud and boasting makes them look weak and fearful rather than strong, like they are covering up a scam.

I think the claims that the Iranians are very close to the bomb are questionable. Both the US/Israel constantly claim a nuclear iran for 30 years. Also dubious is the claim that the targets they went after are the keys to final victory. The country is large and very mountainous, did they check every nook & cranny?

Also Israel claimed that they killed 30 top leaders and scientists, the majority of them without proof.

In less than 2 weeks, Israel has claimed $12 billion dollars of damages and war expenses so far, and this is on top of whatever the US spent to support their offensive.

If Israel claim this than the real number is probably way higher. I see some analysts estimate 40-25 billion dollars of expenditure/losses:

What is more interesting is how Iran is relatively quiet and unaggressive outside of firing 550+ missiles at Israel, outside the Ayatollah's communication. They can rightfully claim that they won this round, they absorbed what the US-Israel did and they got Trump to ceasefire.

Overall it is likely that Israel and the US threw in the towel when they realized the cost of defending against those missiles.

Iran foreign minister tweeted a threat to Trump.., also Iran sent officials to China.

Agreed. The USA and Israel have been claiming since 1995 that Iran is just months/weeks away from obtaining a nuclear bomb, and that was the narrative again this time. My wild guess is that Bibi has some kind of leverage over Donald the butler, which pushed him to act now.

Where did you get the $25-40B estimate? The article’s estimate is more conservative between $3-12B?

So much for the "Iran respects us very much".

Renaming US military bases to Confederate figures...

I believe they’re actually restoring the original names that were changed in 2023 to remove Confederate ties. Not saying it’s the right move, though.

I love that they’re forcing the chamber to read the entire bill before any debate/vote. This way, both the lawmakers and their voters know exactly what’s in it, no more excuses like "I didn’t know that was in the bill" or "They must’ve slipped that in at the last second."
