"If Cain and Abel were Adam's only sons, then how did they have children? Did they make it with their mummy or with each other?"

-Rod and Todd

After Cain and Abel, Adam and Eve had many other sons and daughters.

So, Cain must have married his sister!

In those days, God doesn't mind incest.

In fact, Adam and Eve 's relationship is almost like that.

Eve was created from Adam's ribs, that means she has identical DNA as Adam.

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

I'm not religious so I have no idea if you're joking or not :p

Yes, I am serious.

I am not religious, but I have read bits and pieces of the Bible and that's a possible logical solution to the problem, if you believe the Bible is true.

well my christian friend said something about Abel or Cain marrying another woman, who is (vaguely) referred to in the bible or something.

or that's the weak excuse they're putting up.

Apparently, it is unclear whether or not she came from the same bloodline as Adam.

BUT, don't Christians maintain that Adam and Eve were the first and only humans created by God? If not, then who created this mysterious woman?

I admit that I haven't read up on this much so there's a fair chance I misrepresented the argument, but there are many questions that remain unanswered.
