Most recently, you might have seen her sporting a dark wig and a tweed jacket created by a man named Karl Lagerfeld. But proving that she’s only just beginning her rise to stardom, Miranda Kerr, the wife to actor Orlando Bloom and mommy to a beautiful baby boy, is the new face of a sparkling, glamorous Swarovski campaign. The model who owns her own skincare collection traveled to the English countryside with world-renowned photographer Nick Knight. The campaign features the model draped in crystals, pearls, and all things that sparkle. You know that rule about taking off a piece of jewelry. It doesn’t apply here. In these behind-the-scenes snapshots, you’ll see that Miranda owns a beachy wave and a fresh-faced peachy lip stain. And if you weren’t convinced by her hundreds of ad campaigns, you’ll learn she’s clearly a natural in front of the camera—just check out her Instagram. cardigans Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Austrian crystal house Swarovski has secured a stellar line-up for its fall 2013 campaign, including Kerr, Pharell Williams and renowned photographer Nick Knight. Since her departure from the Victoria’s Secret runway in April, Kerr’s next career move has been a guessing game, but it appears the Australian supermodel hasn’t wasted any time securing her next big deal. The campaign was shot in lush rose gardens across the English countryside by British photographer Nick Knight. Two things spring to mind – ‘Kerr’ and ‘roses’ – undoubtedly a winning combination. In addition to the print campaign, Kerr will feature in a TV commercial which will air in Italy, France and Hong Kong. Singer, songwriter Pharrell Williams (most recently in the spotlight for the controversial Blurred Lines film clip with Emily Ratajkowski) has composed a special soundtrack for the commercial, which he will also perform in. “Mix Miranda Kerr with home-grown English garden roses, Swarovski jewelry, Nick Knight photography, original Pharrell Williams music and you get beauty, warmth, coolness and desirability.
