Rachel Weisz stops by The Today Show to promote her new movie The Whistleblower on Wednesday morning (July 27) in New York City.

The 41-year-old actress signed autographs for fans as she left the building following her appearance.

“It’s a thriller. It’s one of my favorite kinds of genres, much in the vein of Erin Brockovich, because it’s based on a true story about a woman, an ordinary woman, who did an extraordinary thing and I love stories like that,” Rachel said about the film.

Rachel Weisz goes green in a Yves Saint Laurent dress at the premiere of her new movie, The Brothers Bloom, during opening night of the 44th Chicago International Film Festival in Illinois on Thursday.

The 37-year-old British actress matched her dress with strappy Guiseppe Zanotti shoes. Rachel finished off with the prefect accessories: a Kwiat bracelet and a Devi Kroell clutch.

British beauty Rachel Weisz and director hubby Darren Aronofsky (pictured below) jet south to Brazil for a family vacationicon1.png with diaper-rocking son Henry, 10 months.

Rachel, 36, and her two main men made a celebrity stopover earlier this week in Rio de Janeiro, around the Brazilian neighborhood of Santa Teresa.

The family spent their time strolling through the colorful streets of Rio, eating at local restaurants, stopping to look at the work of local painters and buying crafts from street vendors.

Inset: Rachel wore a dot on her forehead, which looks to be a gold bindi. JJ reader Gill explains, “It’s an ash mark given from the church as a blessing for a new mother.”

Top British stars Rachel Weisz and Daniel Day Lewis have won major pre-Oscar prizes in New York.

Weisz was voted actress of the year by the influential New York Film Critics Circle.

London-born Weisz , who now resides in New York with husband 007 actor Daniel Craig, was named lead actress for her performance in the British film The Deep Blue Sea.

The movie is based on Terence Rattigan's 1950s stage play about the wife of a High Court judge having an affair with a WW2 fighter pilot.

It's certainly a dark horse win for Weisz because many had expected the award to go to either Jennifer Lawrence for The Silver Linings Playbook or Marion Cotillard for Rust and Bone.
