Now, after two seasons with Miranda Kerr and her menswear pieces at the forefront, the Spanish retailer is looking to continue its model hot streak with fashion star of the moment, Daria Werbowy! Starring in the brand’s spring/summer 2014 campaign photographed by Josh Olins in Lanzarote, Daria makes her Mango-debut with a mix of flowing fabrics, boho prints and indie rock-inspired outfits that will break in the March fashion magazines. “Beyond her impressive career, in which she has been the face of the best brands in fashion and cosmetics, Daria perfectly represents the values of Mango. She is a young girl with a strong personality and sense of style,” said Ninona Vila, MNG by Mango’s public relations manager. The Polish/Canadian stunner joins a long list of supermodels who have posed for Mango in the past, including Miranda, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington, Karolina Kurkova and Milla Jovovich, to name a few. Of course, Daria should have no problem stepping into Miranda and Kate’s stilettos, as she’s been busy beefing up her portfolio this season with exclusive campaigns for Lancome, Diane von Furstenberg, Isabel Marant, Celine and Salvatore Ferragamo. This season also just so happened to have marked the super’s long-awaited return to the runway at Paris Fashion Week, where she closed Alexander Wang’s second Balenciaga show to the delight of the fashion crowd.
