Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio spotted filming new feature in Closter

'Wolf of Wall Street' Filming Postponed by Rain

Filming of the latest Scorsese flick has been moved to a later date

"The Wolf of Wall Street" will have to wait.

Filming for Martin Scorsese's latest—featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey—was scheduled to take place in the neighborhood on Tuesday, but has been moved back indefinitely due to rain.

A representative from the movie's location department told Patch that while the new date has not been scheduled, signs will be posted at least one day in advance, alerting residents as to when they should plan on moving their cars.

That Scorsese—always a master of suspense.

Leonardo DiCaprio set to get married in the Hamptons ... in scene for Martin Scorsese's 'The Wolf of Wall Street'

Director Scorsese and crew searched for weeks before settling on a Hamptons house that could be styled to look like the Caribbean island Anguilla’s Malliouhana Hotel.

LEO GETS WEDDED BLITZ

Save the date: Leo’s getting married in the Hamptons Wednesday. At least that’s when Martin Scorsese is set to shoot the 37-year-old DiCaprio’s “The Wolf of Wall Street” character tying the knot out east. According to a source on set, “Leo will be partying hard and celebrating his marriage.” Our source adds that “all the actors will be prepared to snort lines and do plenty of drugs that night. There’s so much drug use, they will not be welcomed back to Anguilla.”

Director Scorsese and crew searched for weeks before settling on a Hamptons house that could be styled to look like the Caribbean island Anguilla’s Malliouhana Hotel. Casting for the 250 actors needed to portray “upscale beach wedding guest types” started a month ago.

The male actors chosen were asked to grow out their beards and hair, while the women will be decked out in floral and ruffle dresses. “They want to depict an over-the-top crazy wedding with lots of outrageous people running around,” we’re told.

Very nice... :hehe:

"Scorsese, DiCaprio, and Hill were consistently welcoming to fans over the days of filming, smiling and waving at bystanders as they arrived on the set. After wrapping the shoot early Satuday morning, DiCaprio graciously invited onlookers to chat and pose for pictures with him as he signed autographs and talked to fans."

Leo’s drippy secret is out

YOU’RE unlikely to be seeing Leonardo DiCaprio in any more blockbusters that require water stunts.

Titanic director James Cameron has revealed the Hollywood actor moaned constantly about getting wet while filming the 1997 flick alongside Kate Winslet.

The frustrated movie-maker put up with Leo’s whinging. But he flew into a rage when Leo admitted he was actually a qualified diver on the final day of filming.

Launching the 3D Blu-Ray DVD of Titanic, Cameron said: “Leo was like a Siamese cat trying to get into the water. He made a huge production of it every time.

“The water could be 80 degrees but he hated to get wet – or he pretended he hated to get wet.

“It turned out on the last day of shooting, we had to do an underwater scene and he said, ‘I’m a certified scuba diver’.

“What was all this stuff with the cat and getting into the water? I wanted to wring his neck.”

Should have just dunked him.
