Reading this comment in a review of Once reminds me immediately about what Leo said at an early age about his career. He was in acting for the long haul, thus each career move he considered wisely as it was building his legacy

The entire second act in this is Tarantino straight up making a western, by way of watching Dalton take on a bad guy role in a western they're making. One of the best scenes in the film involves Dalton chatting about acting with a very young co-star. And there's so much context in that scene that speaks to the rest of what we're seeing in the film. I'm not always a Quentin Tarantino fan, but he's successfully done something different, something more emotional, with "Once Upon A Time ... In Hollywood." Will be interesting to see what the Cannes jury, Oscar voters and the world make of it, but I'm eager to watch it again.
