Group C is a hard group, but Holland and Argentina should advance easily, Serbia is not that good and neither is the Ivory Coast :ninja:

Group E is harder, Ghana is probally the best of the African teams with Essien, Appiah, and Muntari. The US is a good team who has made it to the second round since World Cup 94. While the Czechs are not what they were 2 years ago, but they were still the best team of Euro 04. And Italy is Italy, probaly with the best attack (other than Brazil), if they decide to attack.

Serbia and Montenegro are still a tough team to play and I think 4 African teams are new to the WC finals, but Ivory Coast have been winning most of their matches if I remember correctly. They played a European team recently methinks and only lost 1-0 (can't remember who, but it was someone big. Maybe it was Argentina actually :idk:). They're a tough team to play and I'm not too sure Ghana is better than them. I'm too lazy to feel like checking so if you can post the African qualifier table thingymabob that'd make life a lot easier. :p

And USA :ninja: I don't rate them at all. All they ever do is play easy teams like Canada and Peurto Rico. Mexico is tough. USA is over rated. Not bad, but not great. Kinda like Deco

Villareal has become a big team, no doubt.

Riquelme, Forlan and Sorin are all doing an awesome job there.

On another note:

Who will be Real's next coach? Was it a good idea to sack Luxemburgo?

Hopefully someone good, and I'd rather a care taker coach than Luxemburgo. He's crap :yuckky:

Can you post the match. :)

Barca's stupid for letting him go, he's fantastic and the reason Villareal is doing so good. And Deco is over rated, he's good but he's nothing special

I can give you the link but it's a 400-500 MB file (which is half of the average file thank god!)

Would you like that? The match was rather bland and boring, save for the 3 goals.

I don't think it was Luxemburgo's fault they suck, it's Florentino Perez's fault for letting go of Makelele.

I think they'll hire Sven Goran Eriksson after the World Cup

Makelele is history. That signalled the end of an empire.

But the current team's failure is partly Luxemburgo's fault. (Obvioiusly the board at RM are always at fault ) Tactically he sucked. All I have to say is Brasilian tactics don't get you anywhere in Europe.

What about Arsenal? hahahaha

I was watching a Champion's League program today and Henry was interviewed and he wouldn't stop talking about Barca and how he loves them and how they play.

*imagines Henry playing in Barca*

*shivers* scary sh!t :ninja:

Henry + Gallas and some replacements for backs and you have a unit much scarier than the likes of Chelsea.

Same here, althogh I have to add that they are fighters. They won't give up and will try to score till the end.

Not good in football, but good in sport.

If they win their next match, they are 3rd on the table. Ok for Real only the 1st place is good enough, but 3rd isn't that bad.

Valencia tied 1-1

and yeh, Madrid fans expect nothing less than 1st  High expectations, but when you look at their squad now it's hard to see how they'll be able to achieve that. Many teams are undergoing a change in players as the old generation slowly dies out :|

Barca threw out the Dutch influence and replaced it with Brasilian samba and I think Madrid Luxemburgo was trying to get the rest of the Brasilian team to play for Real  Manyoo are starting to invest in the youngsters with Rooney, Ronaldo, Park and Pique coming through. Arsenal have another generation of youngsters now. Liverpool is becoming the 21st Spanish side in La Liga. Bayern need to change soon. Same goes for Milan and (to an extent) Juve. Inter don't need to replace many in their squad...(they should just get Hiddink ;))

In Chelsea's case it's just a revolution <_<

just replace "dies out" with "retires" and I agree.

hahahahahaha now that I re-read it that does sound funny

I make it sound like they're dinosaurs when they're 30+ :p

it's funny how players seem really old, but when you see a normal 30 year old on the street it's normal :idk: At least footballers retire with a lot of money <_<

where's the joke?

He won't leave. Well, I don't know. I love both teams, if he leaves Arsenal, I hope he does it for Barca.

Ed do you just have the highlights for the Villareal game

Inter 3-2 Milan

Inter finally won, in what was the worst refereed game I've ever seen  which made the first not enjoyable at all to watch. The game should have ended in a draw, but Inter had the luck today.

This game just proves to me Milan need to blow up there defence  , and Juventus have already won the Scudetto

all change this year though. other than the premiership <_<

lets hope that it's Spurs on the FA cup  9th FA cup would be good :D

Liverpool are doing real well at the moment. congrats!! :)

i prefer Inter to Milan but i had a gut feeling that AC would win it this time. cool  (no offence or anything)

Milan should be flying really. they have too good a squad to not be 1st or even 2nd.

who scored and stuff?

i think that it's because of the whole Galactico buying policy. whilst Barca have been buying quality, Real have been buying names and brands whilst sacrificing real skill . . .

i hope that you're right about Sven

Barry..

http://www.uefa.com/footballeurope/news/Ki...sId=378737.html

I nearly lost my voice because of all the screaming.. I'm surprised I didnt receive any complaints from my neighboors.

Dramatic game. The two pens were totally made up. Inter played better no matter what anybody says.

Everybody needs luck to wins games.. and AC should know a 'tiny bit' about it..

Forza Inter!!!!

Milan should be flying really. they have too good a squad to not be 1st or even 2nd.

Here are the highlights Barry, just click the game

Milan do have a great team, but the way there going Kaka, Gilardino, and Sheva are gonna have to score 25-30 goals each, in order to win anything. <_< There defence has been terrible, especially over the past 3 weeks.

Gocho, I don't really think Inter played better, Inter was better the first half and Milan was better the second half. Inter just had the luck for once. Kaka hit the post, and Cordoba should have been sent off in the first half.

Also, Kaka was the best player on the pitch and deserved a goal.

Ever since the start of preseason, Milan couldn't hold a clean sheet. That's when I knew something was wrong.

and I'll post the Villareal highlights soon (Y)

ac.. im watching the match again, and you're right.. it's pretty much 50/50.

Nesta should've also been sent to the locker rooms..
