it's based on reults in the last few tournaments and fixtures and stuff apparently . . .

it annoys me that USA and Mexico are always up there despite the fact that they only play rubbish teams and despite the fact that they suck at football relatively :ninja:

No one really understands those things. Personally, I think they're really dodgy.

USA shoudln't be up there but Mexico should be. They're a great team and have players that are technically so gifted. They gave Germany and Brasil a hard time in the Confeds Cup as well, but they just lack the luck. They're a good team and I recommend watching them play if the COnfeds Cup is anything to go by.

Also reminds me of some official list that put Liverpool as the best club in the world. All this based on our results in the past couple of years. You wonder how that works, I'm not even sure we should be in the top 50 based on our last few years' results  Sad but true

I hope Kaka is alright too, I just hope it is nothing to serious :(

but on the brightside this was probaly the best game Milan has played this whole season :)

I only saw the goals

and credit to Gila for creating one and also leaving one for Sheva's hat-trick!

just watched the Barca - Werder match and what can I say? When they play like that they are irresistable. Beautiful to watch.

Same with Werder as well. They play some good attacking football at times, especially when Micoud is involved (Y)

Can you believe they've score 38 goals in 13 games already in the Bundesliga?? crazy! :chicken:

George Best is apparently in the last few hours of his life :cry2:

so sad . . . so sad

I've never seen him play.

I know this sounds slack, but I don't really feel sad about it at all. He plays for a few seasons, then decides to quit to live the good life with women and money and fast cars. :idk:

why'd you say that Ed? why? you're my hero and you say something dirty like poop. poop mouth.

just kiddin' :)

:ninja:

from what i have seen he was amazing. when you consider that he was European Footballer of The Year at the age of 22 then you realise that he must have been pretty special. i think that it's tragic that such a skillful football player succumbed to alcoholism and died at such an early age in the way that he did. i just think that it's a very very sad for football and for the Best family and his close friends. i really feel for them all . . .

In their last six matches Barca scored something like 21 goals and only 1 was scored against them. :o

Werder's stats are amazing too.

:o whoa! and I have the highlights from that match, but I can't find the goal itself... I'll post them in a few hours after I get back from work, alright?

Milan is linked with Cris, Alex, Felipe, Yepes, and Nelson for reinforcements on Defence

I'm not a big fan of any of those five, I would be looking at Massimo Oddo of Lazio and Andrea Barzagli of Palermo, or even Komany, but he wants to go to Chelsea  http://www.goal.com/NewsDetail.aspx?idNews=103142&idSez=1

Cris, Alex and Felipe aren't bad. Felipe is actually pretty good for a 19 year old.

Yepes I've heard of but haven't seen much of and Nelson, well I'm stumped

the problem is they aren't bad but they aren't good either

the only one that has potential if Felipe and there are so many better options Helguera (Madrid) Oddo (Lazio), Chivu (Roma), Barzagli, Grosso, Zaccardo (Palermo)

I also heard rumors of a Cassano-Vieri swap  I'd do that in a heartbeat

Man U should be doing everything possible to sign Ballack, he would make a huge difference on that team
