HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Unexpected? I think not! That's called experience at it's best mate!

edit: sorry if it sounds like a "holier than thou" tone but I just found it amusing, that's all :ninja:

Milan lost 3-1 to Fiorentina

we got screwed Gila had disallowed goal, and we should have had a penalty.

Now Milan is 5 points behind Juve :yuckky: , on the brightside Gila scored again today to bring is total to 8

Fiorentina? wait I can't remember their squad but they were in the top 6-8 last season right? Personally, I think it's time Milan start looking for replacements in the backline. I mean keep your backline, but you need to start playing a new generation to help them fit in. And hire Hitzfield as your coach. He'll work wonders. He's better than Ancelloti :ninja:

How do the Serie A tables look now?

Fiorentina was nearly relagated last year, I believe they were 15th or 16th last year, but this year after the game with Milan, they are now tied with Milan in 2nd

I agree wth you, its time for Ancelotti to go, he made stupid subs today, especially when he took off Kaka for Inzaghi, I don't think they had one shot on goal after that. He should have taken off Sheva for Inzaghi, as it was Sheva's first game in a month in a half, and he looked tired at the end of the game.

Ancelotti also made stupid decisions in Istanbul (against Liverpool), he souldn't have taken off Crespo, and he should have brought in another midfielder or defender after they were 3-0 up. If Capello or Lippi were coaching Milan, they would win a trophey every year, and they would not have lost that final

Too right (Y)

He got it right in the first half, and normally in matches of significance, let alone a European Cup final, you switch to a more defensive system after being 2-0 up let alone 3. You want to change the system at that point. Fair enough if you want to play out the first 45, but I was suprised that Milan came out after half-time playing the way they did in the first half. To think they didn't do anything after 1 Liverpool goal was suprising. After 2 was absurd, and after the 3rd, well it was just ridiculous. Milan have such a great squad, but Ancelotti doesn't utilise his squad to it's full potential. That's why I don't rate him as a coach. (N)

I 100% agree with you

Roma 1-4 Juve

Roma was horrible, and I actually thought they could have pulled out a draw before the match

Milan just has to keep winning now

To cheer you up, here is a vid from last year's match:

I laughed so hard when I saw this on tv, it hurt.

That's from two years ago, when Roma was actually half decent, I remeber watching that game cause when Cassano scored, the whole team sat in a circle and pretended to play cards, that was hilarious

So I hear. That's why Milan have to sack Ancelotti and get him first. But Hitzfield has been brushing up on his English since he left the game :o

I wonder if someone pulled it off this match

I don't think Milan will hire Hitzfield, Galliani (the president of milan) said they are only hiring ex-milan players to be there head coach for now on. So I see Van Basten or Rijkaard, as there next coach, even though Hitzfield would be better for the job

no offence but i dunno why Rijkaard would be interested . . . Barca are flying high again and he has a great bunch of player there atm.

What's with that policy anyway? Rather stupid if you ask me.

Van Basten is good (Y) But I don't rate Rijkaard at all. I'm pretty sure I could do a better job if I had control of that squad! (just kidding but you get my point)

What about Gullit?

Maldini will be given a chance at the backroom I assume?!

sorry guys...

first of all, I've been busy with essays and exams, second my peeps can't find any decent highlights so here are some clips yeh?

Sorry again

Highlights in 6 parts (Rapidupload, 16.5 MB)

I can post little clips from the match but they're all 1-2 Mbs and only a few seconds long so it might be a bit annoying. If anybody wants them just ask ;)

That policy is stupid  and Maldini says he does not want to get into coaching after he retires :( but I can see Baresi as a Milan coach in the future

Ed thanks for the highlights

i reckon that Rijkaard is cool. if only 'cos he spat in Rudi Voller's hair

Ballack to Madrid?

Capello or Hitzfield to Madrid?

http://www.goal.com/NewsDetail.aspx?idNews=102839&idSez=1

Ballack is a good replacment for Zidane, but I don't see Capello leaving Juventus untill they win the Champion's League

I reckon Hitzfeld would do well at Madrid if he can influence the board. If he's not given control then he might have a tough job. Robinho is Zidane's replacement, but I think Ballack would do well in the current 4-4-2 formation. They need someone like Ballack for a bit more steel in defence and some advantage in the air, especially with Becks sending in the crosses.

How can you make Maldini look bad when he was at the peak of his career?

scary :o
